Jeep Gladiator 2021 USB port install
มุมมอง 2.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is quick and dirty. Don’t expect high quality please. Just proof of concept here. The difference here is I have a factory brake controller installed. I used a 12v power adapter purchased on Amazon to connect to a gray connection left for exactly this purpose behind the center console. I guided that down a narrow space to the passenger floor and secured in an area with enough space fo...

Great mods very 👍
The woman who plays the clinician is better than most real life ones.
Cool,very cool.
Nice bud looks good I have same tube...what kind of fins you get?
That is so bad ass! Wow! I am going out for my first time on a float tube that I got for my Birthday. I jerry rigged a rod holder, with bungee cords,(don’t know how it’s gonna work) but then again I have no idea about anything I’m doing, except the fishing. I’m a good swimmer too, so I’m prepared for the worst. Haha! Never seen anyone use one. I have watched many videos on you tube but I can’t find any that answer my questions. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to ask you…. I have some fins that came with a face mask snorkle. I imagine I will want to get better ones, but will they work? Will they get me there? Also, if the tube loses air, is it harder to move? The fibs I have don’t have room for any shoes. Thank you. I love your creation. So much on there, and it is so efficient. I like your zipper too! Like a handle, or shifting gears. Great video. Picture quality good, I could hear you well and follow along and not get bored. I hate when people just start rattling on about something beside the point. Good job! And thanks.
How is teh rod holders connected to the tube?
The ABS cradle strapped on is all modular so each one is removable/replaceable or not used at all.
That's fucking awesome
Can you link the videos to how to make the rod hodlers?
Excellent. Borrowed some ideas and crafted one to fit my style and needs. Most importantly, thank you for the link for the shoe tray. I hope you're still enjoying it 2 years later. By the way, following someone else's comment, how did the bladders hold up? I personally didn't have any problems with mine
I’m surprised Xzibit wasn’t the host of this episode…
That back orange thing is so you can mount a trolling motor mount and then hook up a little minn kota electric motor on there and it last all day
Very nice set up. close to how I'm gonna do mine.
your cut tray is way better than the provided apron, the risers to bring it up to get level for use were a great idea and i will be mimicking the execution on whatever tube i end up getting, thanks for sharing all of your great mods!! those rod/camera holders are pretty involved and look awesome!
how do you deflate it and put everything on it back on ijt
This is awesome !!!
Nice vid I am new ar tubbing so thanks.. new sub to 👌🏼👊🏼🎣
Love the ideas and execution on that float tube sir!
K but....lol... might as well get a kayak at that point man. One of best things about a float tube is how easy it is to carry it to the water 🤦
1. Thanks for your opinion that wasn’t asked for. 2. As I clearly stated in previous comments, this is proof of concept and not actually the gear I go out with. The whole point of this system is that is is 100% modular. I can add and remove whatever I want depending on my needs. And I also own a fully outfitted Hobie ProAngler already.
Super clean !
have you had to do any patching or has it held up to all your durable runs?
Can you post the links to where you got the cup holders and phone mount
Check them out on the forum. floattubeforum.forumotion.com/t8824-cumberland-mods-rod-holders-apron-and-livewell#101377
I used to have a Classic Accessories Colorado inflatable pontoon boat. The main problem I had with that boat were the dirt cheap bladders Classic used in them. I've read (and watched) several reviews on the Cumberland tube and I see a lot of people experiencing the same problem with the bladders. They are just paper thin. Classic doesn't even have replacements in stock now leading me to believe that when (not if) I get a hole in one I'm going to be out of luck. They are pvc bladders, not the much better urethane ones some manufacturers use. I've heard of a lot of seams leaking and they can't be patched. That's probably why Classic is constantly out of stock on replacements as I'm sure they have sold a ton of these tubes and people are ordering new bladders. If it weren't for the shabby bladders that let me down on my Colorado I'd have bought a Cumberland by now. It's a great looking tube but the weak point are the bladders.
Not my experience thus far. Thanks for your opinion.
Fishernewb is his name, I took his idea too. Awesome rod holder design
How do you cast being surrounded by rods?
I don’t. As I’ve said to many others in here. It’s proof of concept and modular so things go on as easily as they come off. I fish with 2 rods max and I have no problem casting. I put other things in the “rod” slots.
Fishernewb is the other channel
How did you tether your rods?
floattubeforum.forumotion.com/t8827-rod-tethers
I can’t find any ABS anywhere in the Nashville area
Where did you buy that wire harness?
Amazon
you killed it bro. super rad
I have a Cumberland and would love to mod it like you did. Anyway to get specific information on parts needed?
Hi there! I actually do. get access to the Float Tube forum and then see this link floattubeforum.forumotion.com/t8824-cumberland-mods-rod-holders-apron-and-livewell?nid=2#103216
I am in the Nashville and I can’t find and black abs tubing anywhere. Any thoughts?
@@mrjayd ACE hardware by my house has lots. Have you tried them?
@@TheBashfulClam where you at? I have tried HD Lowe’s Ace and a few plumbing companies too but now one has any. I used regular pvc and painted them but it is just a sticky mess
I'm jealous!!! I want one but I don't think it'll fit in my car :(
Do it! It will fit. It deflates down really well and takes less than 2 minutes to re-inflate it with the huge hand pump it comes with.
That would be too much weight for me lol
some of it lol not all of it. i feel like i’m already pushing. but those mods are awesome.
holy cow! this float tube is so tricked out! I recently tried a float tube for the first time. Its pretty darn fun. I mainly kayak fish
sweet thanks man! i'm gonna try this on my wrangler JL! Found your comment on quadratec website LOL
That one floating in the back is got your cigarette lighter that we removed when the brake controlller was attached. Nice job.
Nice set up i have a similar one on my cumberland also but i made boxes for my pockets and makes it more ridgid.and made a charging staition for my phone usb speakers,GoPro batterys and also runs my fish finder.going to put a 20lb thrust trolling motor on with a pwm box.Should come over to my channel and check it out will put up another video when my box and motor is done Cheers
Great info thank you ... ill be doing this to my gladiator
That is one pimped out float tube. I love it. Very well made.
Liked.
Super. How does your rack for the rods and accessories attach to the tube? Thanks.
I followed another TH-camrs model to attach using bungee cords that clip attach from Harbor Freight.
It looks great, but with all stuff in i think it limits your casting space, you have to do overhead cast all the times...
This is true but what you see here is proof of concept. I don’t actually take it out fully loaded. The attachments aren’t glued in so it’s 100% modular.
This is the best one I've seen yet on TH-cam, great job
Thanks so much! It turned out great.

@@TheBashfulClam Thank you very much!
Looks great! Where did you pick up the phone holder? Or maybe the better question is, what mod did you make, if any to the the phone holder so it could screw in?
Thanks man. I picked it up on Amazon. The cup-looking thing it sits in is an ABS drum trap from the plumbing section at Home Depot. Here are the links. Nice set up man! How sturdy are the holders in the water?
Thanks man. I just got it so no personal experience yet. However, they are pretty solid attached especially with the right sized hardware recommended by @FisherNewb. I can’t imagine they’ll move at all once I’m in the water. My Force Fins are almost here. I’m planning on taking it out to Lake Pleasant here in Phoenix next weekend. Check my post on the forum, I added some afterthought mods.
