I would have liked a more positive take on Christiania. I know it has two faces, but this documentary focuses on one and leaves the other a "bit" neglected...
Adriano Bulla this documentary was a project created for the personal project in year 11 of the IB, it focused on the way living in Christiania can change the creativity of people within its surroundings. I did not intend on presenting Christiania as a whole, nor for this documentary to be seen by so many people. I’m a big fan of the place and visit it often, I know how wonderful it can be
alberto cassinelli I’m sure there’s worse places, with worse drugs than weed (the only drug accepted within Christiania) I’d rather know where the drug dealing is going on than having it spread around the whole nation on a bigger scale..
It seems a lot like the history of The Haight in San Francisco. Both areas unique in their own way but a lot the same. Hard drugs and alcohol really took it's toll on The Haight in the 60s. Things might be different there now.
