Paris is amazing !! only people without education or class would call Paris s...t! Besides pickpockets are everywhere and anywhere . Simply don't flaunt your stuff!!

We love Paris. It’s such an interesting, diverse and culturally rich city. I was there for Bastille Day, when the French won the World Cup and it was a joy to celebrate with them 🎉 My brother also lives here so I come quite regularly. Yes, the pickpockets are an issue but the positives far outweigh the negatives imo.

@@olavwilhelm6843Flaunt?? I have watched so many videos of people just putting their hands in someone’s pocket or trying to get in their bag that they’re holding in front of them. How is that flaunting? Are people not expected to carry their bag with them? Even NY don’t do this $hit. That’s because they would go to jail. From what I heard, there are no consequences to them stealing from people.

@@olavwilhelm6843 You’ve got to admit though that many places in Paris really smell like piss…. And also the level of pickpocketing is not low, even comparing to other similar sized cities or capitals. It’s often in the top few worst cities for pickpocketing statistically…

@@vanliferoundeurope677 Nah it was fine I’m a pretty decently sized person so no real risk, more was that I was with an American tourist and she freaked out, also my terrible attempts at trying to explain to a bus full of confused/shouting french people what had happened in my less than perfect French! Haha Don’t be scared but people should be try to keep situationally aware at all times!

Honestly I'd get the worst bites and be sat there with disgusting blisters and scars and Alex just gets the occasional tiny red dot of a bite. The injustice! 😓

@@vanliferoundeurope677 Ohh we arent far from Santander either :O We just stayed for a day and then we moved on:) nothing much was happening on the day we visited :)

We had planned to take a look round Santander but the park ups looked pretty meh and the weather has been so bad we have just hunkered down as we are planning the next step of our trip. We're catching the ferry back to the UK tomorrow. How long are you travelling for?

We ate SO MUCH food. Tapas everywhere and not bad prices either! Calle Laurel is packed full of tapas bars, its such a foodie destination. We also had some of that gigantic paella which was lush too! 😁

It takes a little bit of getting used to at first but it’s generally very easy. Sometimes a junction from the left can be a bit challenging but if you have a copilot that is no problem (and it can be done alone). We’ve actually found driving LHD vehicles over here more challenging than our RHD funnily enough though!

@@vanliferoundeurope677 Me and my GF are also travelling around Europe and are also in a RHD. Yes, having a co-pilot definitely helps. Glad to hear getting used RHD on opposite side wasn't just tough for us! Yeah we had a loan of a LHD car while we were in Switzerland a few months back. Absolutely more challenging

Out of the ten countries we've visited on this trip Spain has been the best for van life! The ease of park ups, the landscape, the food and the people! I'd highly recommend it!

Alex is in the shot most of the time so I did the V/O on this occasion. 😀
