Keep making these videos so people understand farmers do not torture. I'm from Belgium and we have about 400k chickens on multiple farms, and its crazy how people think that the chickens have a bad life or something.
If u are keeping chickens, like this, you aint torturing them. BUT if u are keeping the in 20cm cages u are torturing the like crazy. Btw I have chicks , as u can see on my profile picture, but I dont eat them, they are my pets.
@@TM4de It's illegal to have them in small cages, is a law since like 15 years ago. Also you might be surprised but it is in fact nog torturing either, because they dont know what having lots of space means. They just grow up with it so they dont care, they do not think like humans and want to explore, they are happy if they have everything to survive. It just looks cruel and people think the chickens hate it, but nothing against it being illegal btw, and I understand if people think it's cruel
Same i love my hens and i just got chickes @@TM4de
should be worried about pesticides
Stop trying to feed us your poisoned food. We've seen the studies and papers you didn't want us to see. We know.

So, the barley in the shop is processed food, is not alive then? I put a few barley corns in water and they did not germinate.
Sorry your barley seeds didn't germinate. The barley you buy in the stores is basically straight from the field other than cleaning and polishing it into pearl or pot barley - Read more here: canadianfoodfocus.org/in-your-kitchen/all-about-barley/
@@CDNFoodFocus Thank you for your response. May be I should have specified that I live in UK. Could what is sold in UK be processed in any way?
@@morning_glorymonster3473 I would think it is very similar to what you can buy in the UK. Although I am not totally sure. Sorry!
@@CDNFoodFocus Thank you and thank you for the video.

What happens if there is a freeze and the crop fails? Are you able to plant and try again or would you have to wait for next year?
Usually the farmer would re-seed but it would depend on the timing. If it is too late in the season they might wait until the next year.
Thank you so much ❤️
Well done
What’s name of your cookbook ? And where can I buy it ?

Hi
Thank you, very clearly done. I prefer hulled barley myself - hard to find but available at Community Natural Foods in Calgary. Even better for my taste are black and purple barley. But for those without a lot of hassle and high price you have to go to Ethiopia and Tibet.
Kindly tell me ehich one is best for diabetic

I know this is an old video. I wish that this feedlot was local to me, so I could go there, and pick out some animals to purchase for their value to the feedlot.... so I could put them on my paltry ten acres. Especially the black ones.
Any video on how to make your own feed for the birds
Sorry no.
