@YumiTube-JapaneseJokester is a Japanese Vancouver based stand-up comedian and one of my favorite comics. It was so fun to spend some time with her and hear her stories. I used to watch her videos on TH-cam and then one day I was interviewing her on my podcast. World is so small.

Yes, I am Asian! Podcast | Grace Park - Episode 1
มุมมอง 2.7K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
For the first episode, I was joined by none other than my dear friend Grace Park. The daughter of Korean parents, she was born in Los Angeles and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She is an American-Canadian actress known for her roles in the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica, as Officer Kono in the reboot of the series Hawaii Five-0, and also as Katherine in A Million Little Things.
How on earth did you pull this off as a first video.
That was great! I really enjoyed your conversation. Thanks!
46:02 lol so funny
Love this episode keep up the great work 👏 👍 ❤
Grace was great. The host is slow, confused, doesn't lead, talks about himself too much, and about nothing. It's just painful to watch. Nice effort but you're not cut out for this.
😊😊😊🎉 Nice to see Grace again....
Hawaii Five-0 definitely fell off when she and Daniel left. Their warmth provided a nice balance to McGarrett’s and Williams’ gruffness, and they kept things grounded. Btw, how is Grace 50!?
I found your podcast via IG and I like it so far. Looking forward to more episodes.
IG brought me here too! I saw the shorts and just had to see the whole episode.
Thanks for supporting my account!
Awesome! Thank you!
🎉
I can certainly relate to much of Ms. Park's childhood experiences. Even though I was born here, my parents didn't speak the language so I too didn't speak English at home until I started to learn in school. But I can't really say I'm proficient with my parents tongue either, as we didn't speak much when I was growing up because they worked so much, so what I do retain is basic functional household vocabulary that would have been used from my childhood to adolescence. About being asked "What are you?", I'd always answer Canadian. Primarily because I didn't pick up enough of my parents culture for me to comfortably claim it. I'm enjoying your podcast so far, looking forward to see how it develops
Thanks for your comments! New episode coming out next week. Stay tuned.
👏💪
Brazilian pride😊🎉
Fafa! I'm so impressed. Keep up the great work!
