Yeah I have a separate breeders loft from my young bird flying loft. Just been more focus on the race team that’s probably why you don’t see the breeders as much now

I don’t really take them that far because I rarely have anytime due to work on weekdays. I just give them a 20mile toss twice a week from work and daily loft fly them every morning. It’s a big risk but hopefully they can depend on their homing instincts when race day comes this next weekend. If things don’t work out I’ll adjust the training next year

How’s it going brother. If you are in the city you might have to deal with getting permits or permissions to have pigeons. Especially if you’ll be letting them fly. I know In the past a few Minnesota guys have to get permits and also get the ok by their neighbors too. I would recommend asking local flyers near by and see what they recommend and check your local city ordinances. Good luck

It actually acts as a phone itself with its own satellite SIM card system. Only main thing it needs is a power source. I use a deep cycle battery to a power converter to run all my benzing clock setup since my loft is too far from the house

Thanks, The pigeons are for sure putting in work. A couple tough races for them but these guys that are sticking around are the ones worth keeping and work with in the future. Let’s see how they finish the season

There was no light on, maybe it got enough moonlight to finish the race. I did snap a picture of outside when she came in and was pretty dark out lol so who knows

He was found in Saint Cloud Minnesota but never made it back home. 1125 is his nestmate we’ll have to cheer for him now

Thanks for watching, yeah it sucks losing birds but it’s all part of it. Only few good ones will stick around through out the season

They probably half inch squares but not sure of gauge size. It’s sturdy enough to not collapse so on the heavier duty side. I actually bought the shipping crates from a club getting out of pigeon scene and they were already in there so I didn’t do too much

Yeah he’s only flying like 20 birds this year so he just used his regular training crate. He was actually the one recording and dud the toss for us

There was a club sell out in town here last year and was selling their race crates. Bought two for $300
