I had great aunts and uncles who told the most amazing life stories and one set of them raised my mom....fantastic people, they were and so was my mom, miss them all dearly and love to think back on memories, which in many times of despair have lessoned the burden. thank you for your chats, I love them all!

Loved the light lighting our path but WE must walk where we think God would have us go. And thank you for defining Wonderland for this Los Angeles Disneyland lady. My mother grew up in Boston and Wonderland was a dance hall. She just mentioned it yesterday so that’s my synchronicity for today. I see God in synchronicity. We are all connected.

Hey! I like the distinction between allowing a different opinion and being kind. Although... although... I like what Glennon Doyle once said in a podcast, that essentially said, not a perfect quote "Kindness with different opinions on LGBTQ+ issues are not opinions but bigotry because LGBTQ+ is not a choice. It's an 'essential' part of someone's identity." This made me really question my beliefs around this. If my babies are made in the image of God as queer, TRULY formed in my womb as queer - that it's not an accident or choice or something from the Fall or some other bullshit - than someone's "opinion" on it is actually just code for "unacceptance." And if it's unaffirming, why am I around them? My pastor, who is gay, is more of your ilk. He says that we must show up as Jesus would. Who knows that by touching our garments, like the old testament story, if someone can't learn through love? It's a tough line. I'm willing to do that, but not all in my family are right now. I must really turn to God for discernment here. Thanks for the thoughtful topic.

Love the reminder of condemnation vs conviction. Sometimes no matter what we do, people are not going to take our words well and we do need to back off. This is where we must remember that Jesus has the other person - not us. We are not God! The more we fight the more they will use us as a target. As long as we are absolutely doing our best - and we know where our hearts are - then we have to let it go and trust God has the whole situation. ❤️

I’m going on a solo beach trip and staying at a hotel to read and write. I have decided to let go of my kids’ thoughts about me and detach with 100% love ❤️ and surrender. It’s too much wishing it were different. If we’re not going to be that fantasy version of closeness at least if I let go and love myself and I’m close to God I am out of their way and they can find me when they are ready.

Good morning! My heart beats fast for women who suffer from living in their victim story. I know some amazing solutions from spiritual to have it changes but most people don’t want them. I love it when somebody reaches towards me because they are ready to face their pain and heal
