Our channel is about everything smoking and grilling. Let us share our 13 years of knowledge being in the BBQ business. From owning a restaurant, operating concession trailers to food trucks. Now that we are no longer in the restaurant business and now team trucking coast to coast. I will be adding beautiful pictures from across the country. Hope you enjoy them.
Refrigerated Trailer Build Out
Decided to build my own refrigerated trailer. Leasing them for special catering jobs was too costly. This is just some basic pictures. Go to coolbot.com and they have more information on how to make a regular window a/c unit into something that you can use to keep your trailer at 40 degrees or below.

มุมมอง 16K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Building a gravity fed smoker from scratch for the 1st time. If you have any questions, leave me a comment. I would love to help you.
What is that type of truck called that you converted?
Chevy p30
My Bride and I just fell into a great deal on some concession equipment and she's been wanting to do a Shaved Ice stand so now we're shopping for a truck. Great Job on your truck!
Great phucking music paired with a well phucking done video. Phucking loved it! ❤❤❤
Awesome video but pls double the text time
Whoever made this video did not watch it back
Thank you so much! Trying to get my own going & yours is the same exact size as mine.
Where did you get the insulation
Thank you I am ate up with building one of these, skyrocketing material costs seem to be the greatest obstacle. good job looks good
Is the frame necessary? It seems to me a frame less design is better to reduce weight. Basically, use plate joint edge to edge, may be a angle piece to help holding weld.
Nice work! Way to take that on. I imagine this generated a huge sense of accomplishment.
The towing of the grill was genius. How is it with daily use? Did the smell increase sales?
most definitely
Can I pay you to build one out for me
Where are you located and are you supplying the truck?
I just bought the same truck. Thanks for the video gives me ideas for mine!
Hey just asking what’s the truck name? And I em really confused. I don’t like the front window where you see from. I won’t it to be 1 whole. I dint like to 2 cut you think I can get it to be 1 whole instead of 2?
@@andrw3768 trucks name is Obaasans Japanese for grandmother
OMG I learned so much from this video. Everything was extremely helpful.
Hi hey what did you use to insulate you smoker
1500 degree mineral wool insulation
Good job🤙
Thank you so much
What’s the cost of this build?
The metal cost $500, I made my own bender, plus welding supplies.
So amazing I just started my own food truck building if you have a second I would love your feedback. 🙏
Sure what's your number and I can call you
Speak smh
What was the total cost of you don’t mind me asking
3k for the used truck approximately 4500 / supply
What thickness metal did you use for the panels?
good job
How much would you say you spent throughout the whole process
$3k for the used truck and approximately $4,500 for supplies
$3g? Where’d you find the truck? If you don’t mind me asking
I like it is there thing you would charge
Yes make sure that you use a BBQ guru, pitmaster IQ is cheaper and it worked for us to help maintain temperature and efficiency inconsistent
I just purchased a truck just like this. Thanks for sharing your journey
How's your journey going was thinking of buying something like that
@@armanijones6453 at the moment my husband is extending the back a couple inches since ours is just 10ft. He will use the extra 2-3 inches to house the sinks. Other than that, we're ready still in the planning phase and ordering equipment.
Whats the name of the music you used?
How long was the entire build?
We were only able to work on it nights and weekends took us about a month
Nice work! Did you pack all the empty space in the feeder box around the chute with insulation?
Yes 2" mineral wool around the firebox, entire cabinet, door and top. Glad you like it
That's the plans from smokerbuilders.
Great video without all the talking.
Looks Great!!! You have any plans to build for purchase?
We bought plans on liny then modified them to out specs
Great Video, lived in your area when i was stationed in Norfolk.
Thank you and thank you for your service to our country
Did you have to use a metal brake for the door an top cap?
Yes we did, check out our newest video where we are smoking pork butts with this smoker.
Good Job on the Build. If you get the chance check out our FOOD TRUCK BUILD. THE SEAMSTER
I love all the 411 you gave, all I had to do was use my thumb to pause and read. Lazy people will never take the time to pause. Ain't nobody got time for that bullshit!!! Go out the there and hustle!!!
Is a electronic temp control required on the gravity feed smoker for it to cook correctly? My local competition does not allow for it
No
We did use an external thermometer that we stuck in the meat and kept outside the smoker to monitor the internal temperature. The gage on the front helps you keep track of the external smoker temperature
Sorry didt like the video..🤦🏻♂️
How much did this build cost you? Looking to do something similar and trying to put together a budget!
Sorry for the delayed response, roughly $5,000 for the build out. That includes everything including paying a plumber to come and put the plumbing in and connecting it to the tanks. Hope that helps.
Thanks!
great video, crappy text.
Where are you in va? Great video
Virginia Beach but I'm now an over the road truck driver, sorry for delayed response
M Holland I’m in Chesapeake and I just purchased my truck and having some friends build it out for me. I loved the video I took notes then realized you were local. Im trying to find a commissary before I can take my plans in. Was your inspection done throughput or at the end? Sorry for all the questions 😀🥺
No problem, we were a self contained truck and did not need a commissary. Strongly suggest you do the same
I am also and was told that we all needed one? I have an 86 Chevy grunnan. You're in Virginia beach right?
Yes

@M Holland, How did you secure your equipment to prevent them from moving when the vehicle is in motion?
Heavy duty strap for equipment, secured sink, prep cooler and tables to the walls and floors
@@mholland3864 im interest to buy a food truck how to contact you
@@mikhellmartinez8816 we've sold our trailer. Are you wanting to call me to ask questions?
Great info!
You made a very good video, but STOP WITH THE GRAPHICS!!!! I and no doubt FIVE THOUSAND other people were looking for a point of reference for my truck and every time I saw something that caught my eye and stopped the video IT'S COVERED BY AN ANNOYING GRAPHIC and I can't see crap.
Thanks for the video, but the text often wasn't visible long enough to read.
Thanks I'll extend the time gap
I just paused the video
Que clase de mierda
Nice job!!
Very nice Smoker . What gauge material did you use on the smoker and the fire box?
Bo Dude
