That was the most painful thing I’ve watched. Had to stop half way through. lol.

It looks cool at first glance, but why is the sequence front to rear and not rear to front? And then vice versa the question. Sequential indicators should be showing the intended direction of your next manoeuvre. In this case, as it is mounted on the side of a vehicle, is only creating confusion in my opinion.

Did you have to disconnect the battery to stop any error codes or just leave ignition alone?

what's really annoying is when you change your bulbs and you find the lamp is OK, but the voltage to the dipped beam is only 2 volts

I have found that the DRL LED bulbs from Travelin lite don't last as long as the ones from Classic car LEDs.

Hi Simon - miss your T6 ‘mods’ vids….do you still have the T6?….

The one time it pays off to mace the smallest little girly hands! I struggled to do this and have tiny hands. Easier than other cars though. My wife’s Fiat 500 was a nightmare

Brilliant video Simon, love your self efacing approach. It definitely helped me. I did end up with all the same scratches and grazes as you. With regard to the air filter, it really is easy to take the top off. One screwdriver required for the jubilee clip. Two tab clips, one front, one rear, push and pull the sensor plug on the top. Move the hose, give it a wiggle and it's off, one minute to reassemble. Then that sidelight will be much easier. Thanks again though.

Well, done. A very helpful video. Someone suggested leaving the cable on the bulb till it was out but you are right, you have to take the cable off. I'd have given up quite soon without this video. It's not just difficult to get your hands in, it's really hard to see the bulb retaining clip too. In common with other commenters I don't know why the manufacturers make this job so difficult. On a ford Ka you had to take the wheel off and remove the inner wing!

Looking from the front, the left hand bulb can be changed easier by removing the air filter housing first….easily done (TH-cam video available). 20 mins to do this, plus bulbs each side. Love the changes.

Bought the new T5.1 headlights with DRLs from THQ with the LED H7 & H4 cambus attachment , bumper off job to get the bulbs in place , worth the ball ache & i hope they last more than a year given the cost . but deffo recommend them for the van .

So much easier if you remove air filter its only a few clips

Have you changed the DLR bulbs on the VW sharan? I'm struggling to get the bulb out of the housing on my 2017 VW sharan.. would be helpful if you can share any tips on how to get this done. Nice video man - thanks

Simon - Is Your Van a T32?..... I have just bought one (T32) and just found out they are a category N1 (On V5 Form) which means lower road speed limits (except on motorways) 🙁
