Glad Etsy has taken this step. I love their new marketing. However, I wish they would highlight more digital download products and the sellers who make them. They are a huge part of the market on Etsy and I feel like we're often overlooked in favor of those who make physical products. And that exposure could help a lot of sellers. I also feel like for digital products it should be labeled as created and designed by... Instead of just designed by. Because just saying designed by could just indicate that The seller came up with the design idea but didn't actually create it. Whereas if it's labeled created and designed by that, lets the shopper know 100% that this was created from start to finish, from original idea, by the seller

Hello! I’m really enjoying the new Etsy commercials! I have collected vintage magazines for quite a while but when I tried to list one, none of the categories would accept my listing. I thought the “curated item” would be the correct category, but Etsy would not let me complete the listing. Does that mean vintage magazines, books, etc., are not to be sold on Etsy? Really hoping to get an answer. Thank you!!!

Sourced by a seller could list lets say beads that would help us makers make things. This is why I think Etsy has a sourced category.

I'm glad Etsy is cracking down on people who don't sell handmade goods on Etsy. I feel that many people are leaving Etsy (and have left Etsy) due to allowing third parties to "create" stores for sellers and customers. I've seen a lot of AI shops take over etsy and its sad.

Giulia, I really need your help. 😔 I’ve been on Etsy since 2015. They suspended my account over a month ago. This was my sole income and only way I could provide for my son and baby on the way. I have a high-risk pregnancy and was staying in the hospital while they sent me an email that I missed. I’ve had no way of communicating with Etsy. They don’t respond. By doctor’s orders, I must continue my pregnancy on bed rest. My Etsy shop is my only means for work at this point in time. I had over 3,000 listings + 50,000+ sales. Is there any way you can please help me get in contact with someone on Etsy? I would greatly appreciate it so much.

Etsy's latest change is an even faster race to the bottom, the whole handpicked, made by, sourced by, designed by is not well thought out it was poorly executed. Josh's video said something to the effect of back to commerce being human, however this roll out has been executed by the AI bots and has failed miserably. All of these changes depend on the honesty of who ever is listing, the re-sellers will just pick whatever check boxes to get the item online. This will not change anything. They can put all the commercials they want unless the buyers can see the changes in action it will not make a bit of difference. The site it flooded with mass produced cheap items marked up from Temu, Ali Express etc. The only thing that will help is if they actually employ actual humans and we both know that is not going to happen. The new listing form still has not been fixed. I have shared feedback on many things and they ssay things are changing and nothing ever does, I was ok with the last fee hike because they said that seller support would be better and it has gotten worse. The AI bots are also shutting down shops of actual makers. Have you been on the forums? I could make a long list of things I wish was different. I am not a negative person, I am running out of faith in Etsy.
