best demo of this machine , videos without musical context suck big time. I hope Behringer pays you for this
can you show us that the model d is not a one trick pony on funky bass
when you got sounds like that
nah timings good
i love the sound brother
I want to get into playing some funk piano...whats the cheapest way to go get this sound? is this like model D like a filter amp you put on top of an existing keyboard? is that cheaper than getting a poly d that has a keyboard? any other brands for a novice to start on?
" is this like model D like a filter amp you put on top of an existing keyboard?" It's a MONO analogue synth, you can trigger the sound through a keyboard on midi. It also has a USB on the front so you can probably send MIDI messages through that too.
Still slapssss!
hello could you give us the patch?
Best video I've seen on the Model D, super awesome! I noticed a few people in the comments ask for a patch sheet, it's a little hard for me to make out all the knobs even with a screenshot. By chance do you have any patch sheets for sale like the sounds you created here? Thank you!
That sounds great!!! Could you share your settings with us?
Coming back to this over and over. This is what the Model D was made for. A true funk in its rawest form. Gotta love it!👍👍Need to learn those funky chops mate like it´s coming right off the early eighties funky era! Simply Brilliant.
thanks, yes, that was also the reason why I made this video. I couldn't stand the fact that the Model D was always shown as a squeaky noise machine 😉
Incredibly funky vibe👍👍loving it👊
Wow that’s some proper funk right there! It’s like a time machine, takes you back to that period when funk and soul music was in their prime👍awesome demo, super funky sounds! If you care to take a moment you are kindly invited to visit my channel. My Model D by Behringer and few other lovely analog synths are getting a little bit of that caring funky treatment there too. Thank you and take care!! Long live the funk👍🙂
2:20 wanna be startin somethin... too high to get over.. ;)
Go head on my man is blessed with da funk 😎. All 3 vids is on point!
Came back to somemoe on video 2. Funky! Thats where this synth shines, nice 😎
Thee only guy showing you how funky the Behringer model d sounds. Perfect, sounds identical to moog with a blind fold on! Funky😎
hey this sound real good keep onnn funkin bro
Such nice techniques, man.
Congratulations! You're in the band.
Fat as f**k.
what the funk is going here! far out riffs man ! :D
Daaaaaaaaayuummmm 🤯🤯🤯
Dope track...!!!Well done man..!!!
It's identifying as a Moog. It SHOULD be out of tune.
Don't see the midi in or USB connected, how do you play it?
How'd you get the kingkorg to trigger vibrato like that?
This video was the deal maker for me, have the kingkorg as well . Thanks!
Thanks! That's what I was searching for :)
arghh, is the patch online somewhere?? its absolutely perfect, awesome tone and great playing!
WOW MAN! where is your music uploaded ?? this is soo cool!!
Hey - What should be my 'go to' synth for Billy Preston kinda' lead lines?
Hi Tim do you have a patch guide for that sound it’s great
Dude even with the timing slips this is still fire....1/2 of inspiration comes from happy accidents that take you in new directions...you made me dust my model D off and warm it up!!!
Where is the photo patch ? Really good job mate
Yeeeaah, finally someone here in on TH-cam who really show us what this amazing synth can do. Hate those blip blop synth people who just marking clips with Kraftwerk sounds and arpeggios all over the place.. Thanks for showing us the potential funky beast this is.. gonna buy it and hopefully I will create those David Foster 80s basses (see “Whatever we imagine” by late James Ingram) that has so much soul and emotional power in itself.
Which synth synth did you use for the brassy stabs?
woww
God damn man
One of the best synth funk bass videos on TH-cam. Classic sound from the Boog, and your grasp of the 80s funk synth bass rythm and melody is insane! Thank you
Crackin me up dude 😂 Love it, keep em comin!
Awesome man! Sound and your phrases are beautiful.
this is amazing!
Fantastic sound!
Fat funk ... day brightener :) sweet sound...
great great sound ! would you share your patch ?
Such a sensible, well executed and helpful demo. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us.
thank you Emmanuel for the positive energy. I send some back , )
spot on mate
What a great track, Tim! Kudos, dude!
Tommy Mandel Thanks Tommy, I really appreciate your compliment.
Can you please do a video or list the parameters for the sound at 1:25 ? Thats the sound ive been trying to recreate. Similiar to the "Gap Band - Earling in the Morning." Thanks!
