The Shahadah is a testimony affirming that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is His prophet and servant. It consists of two parts, which is why in Arabic it's "Al-shahadatan," denoting a plural form that signifies a pair. Adding the part of Ali R.A being the prophet's successor is a bid'ah, and has never been a part of the Shahadah. If you believe that Ali should have been the succesor then don't mix it up with the core beliefs and pillars of our religion, keep it political at least.
It is stated in the Shia hadith sources that the Shahadah about wilayah of Imam Ali as completes the Shahadah of the prophethood and there is nothing additional to it. In addition, adding to the testimonies is for teaching the person and does not invalidate the Shahadatain.
@@abolfazlsabouri Then why don't you keep it neutral at least and teach her the common Shahadah, and let her decide any sect or school of thought for herself? Believing that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger is enough for someone to convert to Islam. There is no quranic verse that addresses wilayah or mentions Ali R.A (or even Abu Bakr and Umar R.A). You're making the whole thing sound as if it's essential in order to be a muslim when it's really just placing emphasis on an idea that should NOT affect the religion theologically.
@@abolfazlsabouri How does it complete the testimony of the prophethood? There wasn't even the notion of wilayah when the quran was first being revealed in Mecca, you're implying that early muslims who endured the pain and suffering just to protect the message were "lesser muslims" just because all they had to do was to believe in the prophethood.
@@adnaneerwin961 wilayah is in Qur'an, Sura 5:55 we have three Wali not one or two! And Wali means Guardian. I have a lecture about 12 Caliphs, please listen to it and tell me your opinion.
How the Muslims before the arrival of Prophet Muhammad PBUH took shahadha... They all took shahadha in the name of Allah and the messenger of that time. Why are you including a third person now when Prophet himself said several times Ana, Abubakar wa Omar in the day to day speech. Allah knows best and may Allah SWT forgive us and bless us all.
There's only One kalima Shahdah which is i bear witness There's no god but Allah and Muhammad pbuh is his prophet n servent. Why you mentioned the shadah of Ali R.A in it?t's clear bid'ah.
It is not another Shahadah. This is just part of second Shahadah as the Prophet sawa said: whoever I am his master Ali is his master ( Mola).
@@abolfazlsabouri ok beloved prophet saw said whoever im his master Ali is his master but does it mean beloved prophet saw mentioned that shahadah should be mentioned with Ali R.A too. NO. NEVER. I'm sunni n I love Ali A.S n Ahle bayat but it doesn't mean I will create bid'ah in islam. The women who took wrong shahdah infront of you, you will be responsible for her in judgment day because your shahdah was absolutely wrong. Show me one campanion even Ali R.A who proclaimed this shadah as you proclaimed? And you'll never find it. Hope you'll come back from Bid'ah.
@@MrKhan11111 Shahadah is not like salat that if you say more than two it is wrong. Some Sunni add something about Quran and other prophets and Isa as and ... Why you have problem just with the name of Ali?
