Definitely tip and glue quality dependent, that usually makes more of a difference vs. cutting down to shorts (with some exceptions). It wasn't really shooting straight with the AF "waffles", except for that one tag on Adam 😆. As seen, it groups pretty dang good with chilis. A lot of trial and error and effort with building wheelers has gone a long way, but I still don't think I have the best-built wheelers around either. If you watch some older videos, I've also had more off days with my springers which I'm lazy about building and tuning.

I can't give an estimate of exactly what time frame, but they'll come back sometime after Endwar. Most of the remaining stock will be sold at Foamcon '24, which I understand not everyone can make, but Nerf vendors break their backs to put on a show at these events and quite a bit of prep time/busy-ness can be expected around these events.

At the moment, no. Wildcard would be significantly more tricky just thanks to how the magwell joint/grip is designed, but a dedicated magwell may be doable. For that, the main sticking point is the joint between the top of the grip and the magwell, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's possible. A local should have already designed a DZ magwell though, I can ask him for it.

Thank you! It had some years to cook in my head and I'm glad I waited this long. All the ideas for packaging and design didn't fully come into my mind until a year ago and if I had started on it any sooner it wouldn't have turned out as nice.

Unlikely from me but some people have already expressed interest in making such a version. At the moment, I'm more interested in a scratch brushless design with some different design focuses.

LOL my room is so heinous. Loose boxes for organization, no bedframe, and not enough room on my desk. I've also not kept most of the blasters I've built or accumulated through the years, but I guess I could still do it.

unironically yes, having your own camera is that extra step where you get to also reflect on situations and misplays too

@@PowerAverage Mine is a $60 clone that was on sale down to $36 on Walmart. They're not that bad these days.

@@PowerAverage oops, forgot to respond. Apeman A77, though many of their similarly numbered cameras are also close in spec. They can do up to 4k (I just do 1080), and while the quality isn't quite there with the GoPros the value is definitely there for the money.

I was very tempted to pick up those colors with mine too. I don't remember if it was eligible for the sale that happened in August.
