Annie Hall is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Probably saw it 20 to 25 times. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are the very best comedy team in the movies ever. Better than Burns and Allen, Myrna Loy and William Powell, Desi, and Lucy, and many other teams. Allen and Keaton in Annie Hall, Sleeper and Love and Death are the absolute best. It just doesn’t get any better than those two.

Thinking about how far Hollywood has fallen from the making of great entertaining movies like this, now it’s just about getting something out there for people to gloss over, SHAME !

You like Jewish left wing New York Intellectuals Central Park West Brandeis University with the socialist summer camps and the father with the Ben Shon drawings, right? And they’re really, you know, strike oriented, kind of…stop me before I make a complete imbecile of myself 😅

Woody Allan very original comedian always enjoy his films

Anyone else find it weird that in the years after this almost all romantic comedies got cliche and "they get back together in the end"?

Think it’s one of my favourite films ever. Some of the scenes are undermined by the way people really are psychic wolves in real life however. Because the internal monologue bit and the cheating on my metaphysics paper by staring into the soul of the boy next to me only really works as a gag in the light of day where people have their innocence and natural vision to be quite honest…

Easter dinner at Annie's family in the Midwest is the best. Alvie faces the camera and asks "Can you believe this family?"

Just came here to blast hollywood for awarding annie hall academy awards for best picture and best director over george lucas's star wars, almost as bad as hollywood awarding the sound of music best picture and best director over david lean's doctor zhivago and several other unforgivable travesties.

I'm glad you're also a fan of Annie Hall, but in the very beginning of your video you left out Woody saying he heard two women talking about their experience at a restaurant. You start it without Woody's analogy of that and go straight to his punchline about his philosophy of life, but without the setup for it.

Great movie - for me the best Woody Allen movie is a tie between “Annie Hall” and “Crimes and Misdemeanors” I saw Annie Hall in a theater on a first date and there were so many scenes where I was laughing my ass off, especially the scene with Christopher Walken driving his Porsche late at night. I think my date wasn’t quite sure what she had gotten herself into.

Jesus, you cut off the last scene right when it was getting most iconic...😒 And you left out the Christopher Walken scene...and the cocaine scene...what were you thinking. 🙄

I saw this movie when I was 16 and was too young to understand and appreciate it. I think if I saw it now I would better understand and like it.

Genuinely insufferable

I love how idiots cut and paste crap on-line and present others work as if it’s their own. The very clip was so poorly cut I gave up. Stop it!

The contrast in the settings of New York City and Los Angeles, the stereotype of gender differences in sexuality, the disdain for pretentious intellectuals, the presentation of Jewish identity, and the elements of psychoanalysis and modernism… This has the makings of a Woody Allen movie.
