Pacific Park, possibly one of the most unique camps around Sydney. Offering grass camping, dirt bike tracks and trails to explore and access to the Hawkesbury river with a nice little beach. As this was not a 4wd trip we decided to film Kasey teaching me how to cook Tacos and "borrowing" some grated cheese from another camp. #tacos #tacotuesday #pacificpark #riverside #camp #campcooking #dirtbike

Water storage bladder, Unboxing, Install, Review, enough water for a 4WD Simpson desert crossing?

Fleximake 110l DW110B Water storage solution, removable and drinking water suitable. Have you crossed the Simpson Desert with 4 people in a wagon? Well that's what we are planning to do. While I love wagon life I don't have the space of a canopy and have to be more creative with storage, that led me to getting a water bladder. I like that I can remove it as I only need it for the actual desert ...

Good Vid Geoff. Bit jealous mate, I'd love to do that trip again...
Use jackstands for the love of god
There are jack stands under there. We were just explaining that, if you’re out in the bush, the wheels are likely to be your only option, to catch the car, if it came off the jack.
Thanks for the video guy's, how did the tank hold up on the trip any dribbles or leaks? & how did the family get on with the taste?, did the taste stay after a few fill-ups Jeff?. Thanks for any help Keep shwing the grommits there's more to life than mobily phones whats-up, face place & tik-crap there's still a real world out there, tell em, one life live it, dont waste it staring at a screen. Take care, stay safe :0)
Hey mate. Have not gone on the trip yet. All going down in july, I haven't been doing much as I am saving for fuel. I'll do an update video after the trip. The kids love coming out and jump at the chance to be out adventuring with me (that makes me happy). What cat do you have?
that was an awesome camping cookup
Appreciate it 😁 what’s your go to cook up?
@@hititoffroad4545 when we do Onslow in June , mudcrab wrap
awesome guys, you make it look easy
awesome job guys, i think when the tyres warm up then the wobble stops on mine
That’s an interesting way for the wobble to stop. Have you tried adding a few more psi to start with?
@@hititoffroad4545 tried higher pressures , i think it's the brand of tyres
@@rollyb5061 tyres can play a big role, if only we left things standard 🤣🤣
Another banger!!! The guy in the blue singlet certainly knows his stuff, not bad on the eyes either!!
It's moments like these you need a Patrol......... 80 series front diff in forward direction is pissweak, in reverse the "strength" is far less.
...what nissan front diffs are reverse rotation?
@@mattluszczak8095 Don't ask stupid questions mate. Of course they are not reverse rotation whatever the f*ck that even is. Patrol front diff is 100 times stronger than the Corolla unit in the 80 series. Ever see a comp truck with an 80 series front diff (or rear for that matter)? Ever see a comp truck without Nissan diffs? 60 series yes, 80 series never.
Cool mom ❤
Super happy you enjoyed it 😁
Looks like a nice part of the world , putting it on the list
Definitely a great place to visit! And thank you for watching 😁
Love this Geoff awesome filming with some outstanding scenery spots , this place is amazing great spot for a relaxing and adventurous weekend away. Love watching your videos on various locations and tips and tricks
Cheers mate. I love making them 😀
Editor deserves a pay rise that was top notch.
Thanks for your encouraging comments 😁
You are only observing a static load on the front spring. Allowance must be made for a dynamic compression load at speed and under heavy braking. Those springs look about right to me, allows for more compression with weight transfer to the front, ie downhill, braking etc.
Either way, I've already bought softer springs. Just gotta get em in and see what happens 😀
Bro! Just found this channel channel! So good....go the 80s! But no reverse load on toyota diffs. Please share what you find 😢
Thank you 🙏 we will definitely be putting a video together, when we pull it out and back together 😁
What brand of rock lights are on the 80? I’ll make sure not to buy them. Absolutely useless.
Love the comment, although 🥺 It’s probably more to do with my lack of cleaning them, as they are usually covered in mud. They are Direction Plus and pretty good when cleaned 🧼
Mr L , AM I EVER GONNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN
No way get........
Yous make it look hard lol
Someone has too 😂
@@hititoffroad4545 🤣
awesome vid, the front diff probably was about to fail , easy fix👌
Thanks Rollyb, it was still the original, 31 years. Diff rebuild coming, just need to make the time 😅
Good video mate !! keep the good work coming !
Thanks for the support 😁
Did you test how long it takes to pump up a 33” from 20psi to 40psi by any chance? I have a single thumper and wondering how fast they are
I did a basic test but didn't switch my car on and got a flat battery. I will do one. I'd like to see what the amps do when filling 33s from 20 to 40psi. My 1st gen thumper was great back in the day.
@@hititoffroad4545 I seen outback equipment are releasing a v4 400lpm air compressor soon . Looks rather big to me to try find somewhere to put that in a 4by
these Thumpers are great value and get the job done👌
Yeah. There may be more out there with higher flow rates. Jut not at that price. I just saw a new 4 piston one advertised with electronic controls, 2 outlets and 400l per minute. But it cost around $500.
@@hititoffroad4545 👍
looked like a perfect place to have a swim on a hot day
Its Absolutely Beautiful 😍
they always seem better with an oil and filter change🔧
Yeah good to maintain rather then fix :)
those front springs did look to heavy for the Patrol
Geoff’s ordered the next set down, it will be interesting to see what changes
Yeah, they do feel a bit rough on the access trails aswell. Ill get some sifter spring and then do some testing
what spring rating do you have currently? What Length Shocks?
Hey Eric. I currently have king springs raised. Part number kdfr-42hhd. I have ordered a slightly higher but softer spring. Hopefully it will get more flex.
I got a 2inch kit when i set it all up. Ill see how softer springs work then go from there.
Does the patrol still have front sway bar in it
Front sway bar is still in, with a quick disconnect. It was connected, during the test.
@@hititoffroad4545 that would restrict it a bit , but patrol front ends are tight and don’t flex like the rear unless you spend a heap on superior engineering arms
Yeah still has front sway bar.
@@hititoffroad4545 you now you can buy long travel sway bars from either superior engineering or from Seaton race suspension I’ve just ordered the rear one to see how they go
awesome camp Geoff
Top spot, this is my go to camp site now.
Love your videos. What sort of cameras do you use and what editing software do you like.
Thanks so much we love making them. I use a range of different cameras, a bunch of go pro and DJI action cams. DJI drone and Sony DSLR's. I use Final Cut Pro and John uses Wondarshare.
Another amazing video!!!

Is this in the Wollondilly by any chance? Looks familiar
Pretty much
Yalwal stage 6? Never head of it. Monkey Gum consists of 3 stages. 1. Down Mint bush off Deans Gap Rd. 2. At the bottom you can turn right to camp, but turn left to access the Wombat Flat track that takes you to the start of Monkey Gum. 3. Never forget that at the top of MG, you still have a bloody long way to go to access the Braidwood Rd, .... or clean your undies & go back the way you came in. Very few have the guts to do this ... I did it once back in 2000 when it was a 4 x 4 track ... I will not go near it today.

what exhaust are you running on the 80? is it straight through? Sounds mean!
Its the Redback 3" full stainless, the mid section is interchangeable, with 3 options, muffler/resonator/straight options.
