In Great Britain we put our fish back after catching them and even put Carp on a wet mat to unhook them and make sure we use a landing big enough to land them.

Looks like a great, wild time! Makes me want to paddle all the way up the Missouri from STL (but realistically speaking, I’d better use the motor) and try to hook into a paddlefish.

Rope winches are really nice when i worked for an arborist they sure come in handy pro tip use both hands if youre using one had my hand slip off one time and the handle hit me in the cheek and my tooth gouged out a hole all the way out to my face skin

@@OutdoorWays I load by hand loose. No special trick. Back of van. Truck. Doesn't matter. But, if they want a lot. (Slab) tractor in truck by hand. I don't need any truck accidents dumping. 20$ a truck load.

Never soak mhrms in water. Absorb liquid. Now one is the other. Any bad transfers to all. They are over 80% moisture already. Rather halve n set to dry or preserve. Soaking makes them into soggy mush.

Yes, you're right. I forgot to mention to tree is dead, and unfortunately risked falling on the house. We were able to pile the brush up on a brush pile in the country to make a new home for wildlife.
That monster of a tree should have cut back years ago..they are lucky a wind storm didn't blow it down and crush thier home..

A sad day indeed. I talked to the homeowner about planting a new tree, and mentioned putting up a Maple tree. We were able to pile the brush up on a brush pile in the country to make a new home for wildlife.

Why do you say Sad? The tree was dead, we were able to deliver the wood to town resident for firewood, and dumped the branches on a brush pile for habitat. I did here they developed a town board to advice homeowners on what trees to plant in replacement as well.

Agreed. It’s not any easy decision, nor is there a clear solution. Personally, we believe the connection made to nature through outdoor recreational activities is one of the best ways to educate and engage our youth in tackling those larger issues you mention. Thanks for contributing to the conversation.
Limiting out stage right now. Didn’t grow up hunting as a kid even though I wanted to. Never had the opportunity. Now that I can hunt whatever is in season, I have progressed through to the limiting out. Loved this video. Gave me a new perspective on my hunting journey.
