as a Canadian I can safely say that this cat is a perfect representation of us in winter when we have to get to work, school or whatever reason that require us to leave our house.
Cats are usually from pretty warm climates so that's not surprising. Note how much time they like sitting in hot spots like your head in bed, your computer and sunny windows. Too bad they've not been amiable to wearing any clothes like some booties or sweaters.
Cat:- Oh.. its so pretty.. Let me go in there and dad will get a nice pic of me frolicking.. also cat: Let meeee innnn ... Are you crazy? If something happens to me out there, it will be spring when you manage to find me..
The flicking of the paws is pain from the freezing ground. The paw pads of a house cat are much more sensitive than say a feral cat. When you see the flicking of the paws ...don' t let your cat stay out for more than a few minutes.
The first time my experienced snow, we let her out, expecting a similar reaction. She didn't even paused and just ran at the other side of the garden. She had a blast in the snow
