À comparaison Wood be good with their other roll top the bt01 I wish crumpler brand comeback on camera backpack market
I’ll have to check those out! Thanks!
Algorithm put you on my recommended and I'm grateful for it 🙏 your content and style will go big
I appreciate your kind words! I'm really excited to make more content this year
Idk why u in my recommendation, I don't even got a camera 🗿
Haha this made my day!
Niiiiice I was browsing through tons of backbacks on Chinese marketplace few days ago (whole last week actually..). But I need it for travelling, so it has this rolling part that extend backpack up, not to the side. Also I need 40x30x20cm basic size to fit most lowcosters, with a possibility to expand it to sides and up. The problem is most camera backpacks are too narrow ~15cm, but I need 20-25 with extension to 30 if some airlines allow this size. Btw this backpack from review costs ~90 on Chinese marketplace, so $159 if pretty fair price for local store.
Thanks for sharing the info! I’m super impressed with this bag for the price!
Nice one man! Also, that camera bag addiction is real! 😢
Hey thanks, it’s so hard to resist buying a good bag!
Love your style man, great video! I use the Lowepro “Photo Hatchback BP 250 AW II”man those names lol. I don’t do video so this is perfect for my needs and I can still fit a drone case in the top compartment. It has the removable compartment for all the gear so I can put that in my nice leather backpack if I’m traveling with my wife. Love that backpack and have been using it for the last 5 years strong
Thank you! I love lowepro bags. I’ll have to check that one out! Thanks for the recommendation!
Awesome video bro!
Ive known about Kdenlive for a long time, but ive never seen it in a top 3.
Clickbait title. He has a creator code so of course he will try to sell it to you and make you think it's worth it.
It’s worth the price for those who want to color grade quickly, create clean film looks, or don’t have the time to do everything manually. A lot of it comes down to how much time you have to spend in editing vs how much that time is worth. The plugin makes it fast and easy. Learning color grading through my courses is also a nice option. I’d say those are worth it too haha! Shameless plug
Im looking to get one, whats a good lens for this camera?
The photos saved in RAW isn't with good quality . All of them got a red colorizing
How was the auto focus for you ? Ive heard a lot of reviews saying the Auto Focus on the c100mk2 and c200 are not usable. Im looking to get into Sports Videography. Im primarily coming for 10 years of Weddings and Music Videos.
i am from india❤
nice gadget bro
Got mine for 800 dollars with lower hours on it with everything off MPB.
They’ve really been dropping in price over the last few months! Glad you found a great deal!
Bought this camera a few days back hoping it arrives today, so still watching reviews to learn different aspects/options of the Brave7. It appears that the version2 has really improved from earlier reviews and I'm pretty sure this little camera will more than ever serve my purpose of taking a few still shots and a bit of video while out fishing and clowning around. I've watched lots of GoPro comparisons but not everyone is trying to be a channel star for profit. Just keep a few memories without breaking the bank. In my honest opinion from all the positive Brave7 reviews of the version2 that little camera will more than surpass my expectations. This review again helps prove that..Good Honest Review.
Are you still using your C100mkii?
Sure am! Of all the cameras I’ve tested and used, the C100 Mark ii is definitely one of my favorites!
@@studiomckay You did good. Looks great.
Great video man!
Good video man, I already downloaded the LUT pack but not sure how to import them to davinci, any sugerence? I'm new in this editing world, but thanks for the video bro and keep it up
I bought this piece of sht cam, it looks like home videos ... no different than an iphone
So why did you buy it then?
@@UKHeritageRailways ended up a getting an actual film camera, Panavision
@@jessicawinslet684 That would be unusual as Panavision cameras and lenses, etc, are rental only.
Thank you for sharing
thank you for the tips about this device, I'm planning to buy this one! other vlogger that I don't like is that they compare g pro They don't appreciate it according to this price. In fact it's affordable! now I am fixed to buy this one!
This is awesome 💯💯💯💯
Just bought this desk but I’m worried my monitor arm won’t fit due to the metal bracket right under the end of the desk. Do you think a monitor arm will be able to clam onto it?
Hey Grant! Because of the metal frame that the desktop sits on it makes it very difficult to mount a mic arm. I have an arm for my podcast mic and I couldn’t clamp it to the side. It’s the only less than great thing I have to say about this desk. I wish you the best!
Fire🔥
I own the same one (khaki color). Really durable & comfortable backpack, which can be used for various needs (photography/regular backpack). Definitely a good value for the price.
Nice! Completely agree!
Love that 24mm pancake!
One of my favorites for sure!
Great video.. I just picked up my 2nd c100 mkII for $1500 (like new) from MPB..
I spy a Isenseven influenced profile photo ;)
Just got mine for $900. I’m really hoping I enjoy the camera. It’s my first cinema camera.
@@nitablackwood6301did you enjoy it?
@@albertmcknight1685 I didn’t lol. Send it back and got a Fujifilm xt3. Much better video quality for me.
Solid video, man! Good value here
Good tips. Thanks
Great video
This a solid video when did you start making vids?
Hey thanks! I started making videos about 5 years ago but only started uploading consistently about 1 year ago!
@@studiomckay is this your first channel
Love my C100 Mk II. Picked it up (used, excellent condition) on FB Marketplace for $800. So yeah, I pretty much stole it. :)
thank you very much for the review, you can throw off the source material from this camera, I really want to see it, thank you very much
i dont believe 8 bit cinema cameras lol
Where’d you get that cubical storage unit in the back?
Does any of this have watermarks?
Viewfinder, nd filter, waveform Great camera !
Hi, indeed it is an awsome camera. I paired mine with a Sony FX30, and it s an good match for me! If you want, go see my latest video, to check if you can spot them 😉 cheer
One of my favorites things about the C100 Mark I and II is because the files are downsampled from a 4K sensor, the footage very nicely upscales back to 4K with AI Upscale in Resolve or with Topaz Video Enhance. Could honestly pass as actual 4k footage if your shot is exposed and focused well.
Haha I love this! I got the C100MK1 back in 2014 and still use it (and the C100MK2) to this day in professional settings. In my opinion, the great thing about the MK2 over the MK1 is MP4, 60p, and being able to flip the screen around without having to setup an external monitor. But if you don't need those things, then you can save even more with a used C100MK1 with dual pixel autofocus for $900. If you're just starting out a video production business, this camera is still a great decision in my opinion!
So happy to still see c100 love. It was my first cinema camera and i definitely miss working with it!
Congratulations on the machine. 😊 Great machine 😊 Nice Lights
I bought 15 days ago for about 1000, it's amazing, simple to use, very professional ;)
Good work! I love the Canon C100's
I don't know about others but I used to shoot with this C100 Mk2 for quite a while before switching to more advanced 4K cameras. To sum it up it had, and probably still has the nicest looking 1080p image I have known from any cameras outside of the likes of the Alexas or Panavisions us mere mortal video shooters would use. Its 8-bit AVCHD or standalone MP4 files consume only 24-28 Mbps of recording data for up to 60 fps footage so it is a breeze from the storage point of view not only for long form shooting but for critical work in the field as well. The ergonomics are excellent and the autofocus when the camera is paired with suitable Canon STM lenses is near faultless under most shooting conditions in terms of the sureness it locks onto the subject, the focus stability and last but not least for those who like to say real cinema shooters only focus manually, the focus transition that looks smooth and refined second only to that is operated by the most experienced professional focus pullers! Glad you have found this camera. Enjoy it.
hey MCKey what about VSDC ?
VSDC is great! It's got a ton of features especially for a free program. The only thing that makes it difficult for me to use is it's unusual interface. Some might like it though. It's a great program! Just depends on your workflow and preference.
I'm part of the C100 M2 cult and it's just a camera that's hard not to like, even after all these years. Because of it's tiny, gradeable files it's great for long events - concerts and presentations. Yes, it doesn't have the 4K sharpness or bitrate, but it does a lot of things well in a very well laid-out form factor. I wish Canon had come out with a M3 version of this with 4.2.2 10bit 4K and they would have sold a ton of them. The reliability and incredible battery life are a couple of the factors that keep me loyal to this camera (among other things). It's totally obsolete, but it was really well designed at it's time.
How’s the autofocus?
The dual pixel autofocus is pretty good though it only works in a box in the middle of the screen. As long as what you are focusing on is in the center, it works pretty well!
1080p 8bit is a joke,just buy a BMPCC 4k or 6k
Hey you're absolutely right! The Blackmagic Pocket cameras win every time in the resolution and codec department since they can record 4k raw or 6k raw respectively. However the Canon C100 ii's autofocus, full size XLR inputs, flip out screen, built-in ND filters, dual SD card slots, and larger sensor made it a better choice for my workflow. The biggest difference is in resolution and codecs. The BMPCC 4k and 6k produce insanely detailed raw images, but the much smaller file sizes of the C100 ii mean I can record sharp 1080p video downscaled from its 4k sensor for several hours on a cheap 128gb card. Either is a good choice. If resolution is more important, the BMPCC 4k and 6k are the clear winners, but if having most of the benefits of 4k without the 4k raw file size in addition to the other benefits listed above are more important than the C100 ii is a solid option! It just depends on your workflow and your priorities.
@@studiomckay i have the 6k pro, super35 sensor, built in nd filters, dual mini xlr ports, cfast/sd slot and usb c ssd option(i use 2tb samsung ssd) and if you want to save space you can record 1080p prores which is scaled down from the 6k sensor, and also 4k prores, i never missed the AF because i am using cinelenses which are manual anyway, the camera also has a huge lcd with 1500knits brightness
@@ThomasSz1994 Again, you're totally right. The BMPCC 6k Pro is a fantastic camera with a lot to offer within the $2000-$3000 range. For the purposes of this video, I decided to stick with the $1500 price range as 2k-3k is out of reach for many people. While image quality is certainly a big deal when we talk about cinema cameras, workflow is equally important since different professional workflows have different purposes and requirements. If someone is making movies for the big screen then BMPCC cameras are a clear choice. However, for internet creators (which is the majority of people watching this video) cameras like the C100 offer great value. It just depends on individual needs and workflow. Thank you for having this conversation and helping to give people some factors to consider when looking at the $1500 price range of cinema cameras.
yeah on paper the bmpcc are better, but just the ergonomics alone are so much better on the c100mkii. it's fun to use. there are TONS of buttons and dials. you dont need anything but 2 batteries, 2 64gb SD cards and you are ready to shoot an entire day. no dangling cables, no rigging, no grips you have to attach, no worries. it's got everything. you can hand hold it for hours (entire days, ive done that) and youll be ok because even with a chonky lens it's still lightweight :) if you expose it right, it punches way above its weight. not everyone needs 10bit or raw, i love having it but only because i can correct the white balance or exposure if i fucked up. love this camera, shot with it for over 2 years and it's been through a lot of rainy days, dusty studios and dirty hands. i dont mean to shit on bmpcc but they play in different leagues and comparing them makes no sense
I prefer Canon c100 that can shoot for 7 hours with 1 aliexpress battery on a 64Gb SD card to shoot a concert or a conference. Bmpcc is not so reliable, needs external ssd, c-mount with ton of batteries etc...
