L'Dovid Mizmor - Tehilim/Psalm 24
มุมมอง 74วันที่ผ่านมา
This psalm is sung at the evening service on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. I learned this from my dear friend and teacher Chazan Aaron Lieber z'l, chazan of Congregation Sons of Israel, Lakewood, NJ. I started singing in his choir in 1960 (age 10), became his choir leader in 1966, was his Baal Shacharis from 1970-1985 and learned so much from him. May his memory be a blessing.

Steve, thank you and your comrades for all of this beautiful music. Chag Sameach.
I am right now digitizing a Noam album that I never owned. As I listen I feel compelled to tell you how rich and unique and comforting the Noam sound was. Thank you for making this a part of our nation's history. Kol Hakovod!
Nice Steve. Great video as well.
Hey Steve, who is E Diamond who composed this? Do you have any more info on them?
Apparently, he is Rabbi Eliezer Diamond, a YU graduate and musmach (73 YC, 76 BRGS, 77 RIETS) and now a professor of Talmud at JTS.

Steve, I cannot thank you enough for posting this song. I have been searching for it for about 2 decades. Probably took this long as I thought the name of it was "Akeidat Yitzchok". The video brought back so many great memories. YU, QC and the Pioneer Hotel all have meaning to me...

Thanx, Avi. I will post more of the original recordings soon. In the meantime, have you watched the 1987 concert videos?
I'm going through them as I have time... I don't know what it is about them but they are one of my favorite Jewish music group.

I'm tied with this other girl for the part of Serena I hope I get the part and I hope I can sing as good as she did :)
we are doing this at my school (:

I agree this is the best I've seen and I've just spent an hour looking through all the clips of this song. But my biggest problem is that Serena is a nerd! no one captures this. I wish I had a video of when I saw it put on Off Broadway in Tucson.
well done good job
