The anomaly. A movie about a place, that makes things crazy. But all I see, is that the drugs make it so, But we are to believe she is there from a group that is not affiliated with the place... but, it's the drugs, complimentary from another, unaffiliated group, that makes The Anomaly what it is...????????????????? What?????????

What a load of mambo-jambo.....!!!!!

I'm not a fan of such incomplete stories, nonsensical plots, and poor director understanding of a required amount of believability, such as the miraculous cure of the broken ankle, and the use of binoculars to see trees only ten feet away. Sorry. Was this made by students taking some kind of movie making course? If so, I can understand the outcome. But why publicize it?

The filmmakers have obviously not been camping or hiking.

I dispute copyright on the title THE ANOMALY - it is too close to my old 16mm classic called 'Anal Molly'. An apology would suffice. THE DARK BROS rule baby!

So "The Anomaly" was some backwoods hunter stalking experimental drug addicts manufactured by his company? Did this win a participation award?

Opiate overdose, Like mother, like daughter. She, "Noelle " is the anomaly not the man in camouflage!

There is a cavernous gulf between a "short film" and an incomplete story.

Cute twist where SHE is the test subject, but too much beautiful scenery, and not enough explanation as to what "anomaly" she was looking for to distract from the man stalking her in the gilly suit "observing" her.

I'm sorry, but I really felt this was a total waste of time to watch. Left me clueless as to what was anything. Apparently one is supposed to have a massive imagination and put things together out of thin air. Bogus at best.

Without reading the description, I would not have gotten ANY of that. Lol

This movie made zero sense.

Man, What a let down.

The degree of willing suspension of disbelief exceeds reasonable expectation. NOBODY walks on an ankle after that kind of trauma - I don't care how many high-tech pain pills she has.

Not bad. Good idea but some weakness in execution. The actor looked and acted too much like a model - had she or any of the crew ever actually spent two weeks in the bush? You could have been more subtle regarding the pills etc, and then compensated by giving us a bit more to work with in terms of the experiment she was inadvertently part of. It kept me watching but the ending was too predictable.

Did you find these lessons valuable? What are some of your biggest lessons learned from your projects?

TH-cam is the University for filmmakers now. There are so many free instructors here.....

I think it depends, it's definitely beneficial if you want to experiment, and be open to learning anything new, including the things you think you know already.... Be open to go through that again, and possibly learn nothing new, or learn some new things, every little bit helps, I think. But the biggest pros you mentioned was the safety aspect, and meeting new people, who are into the same thing you are, they are by far some of the most wonderful conversations, and experience's most people will go through.... Everyone is excited, nervous, motivated, and plenty of colourful characters. That and the ability to try, test, and improve, all with being able to fail, and not lose a whole lot, is very beneficial. That and the ability to pay off ones debt slightly easier is very helpful. But to each their own, some will be better off, going in a different direction. P.S. some film school degrees will actually get you jobs in the right circumstances, not always of course. Great video, a lot more informative then I assumed it would be, wonderful.

I am 73 so I may have to do what I did with Pulp Fiction and watch it more than once. Well done though and don't forget to have some fun along the way. Life s like a roll of toilet paper - the closer you get to the end the faster it goes.
