Instead of getting argos at 9450 I will get a alba at 10000

It has a Chinese movement of 20 jewels. The movement is mass machine-produced. Even old Timex Marlins had a Chinese movement. Because it is machine-produced you can't get spare parts and it just has to be replaced. Replacing this movement is cheaper than repairing it.

i got this watch a bunch of months ago, honestly the lifetime warranty is what made me buy it,coz ur first watch which u’ll carry the longest and having a lifetime warranty is sort of a sweet deal, but when it came i was instantly disappointed with the quality of it and the minutes hand just came off and lay there on the dial flailing around so i returned it. and quite frankly i wouldn’t suggest anyone to spend their “saved” money on this watch.

Mine A159w has a folded bracelet instead of flip one.. and it's very loose though I tighten it.

This looks very similar to Merkur sector dial watch 😅

Not sure if this is a promotional video... But the annoying part is indian micro brands are using youtubers to praise their watches and eventually the quality sucks. They say " sapphire coated mineral crystal" on their website but many youtubers keep saying its sapphire crystal- not sure if thats a mistake or something told by argos Argos is definitely one of them!! Not saying dwc is the best, they also have qc issues. But they dont claim they are luxury and pricing is fair as well.. Also, all the gimmicks of argos with respect to lifetime warranty is a hoax. Also these words-" affordable" and "premium/luxury" is using antonyms in the same statement which makes no sense Either call it premium and provide quiality like them or just call it affordable. The advertisement itself is misleading. While i do want indian microbrands to grow, but this strategy makes me hate such brands. Look at all great brands they will never market themselves as affordable luxury.. be it from casio or rolex. People know if they are affordable or luxury.. Argos is using the marketing strategy of fashion brands with random youtube influecers with 0 knowledge of watches.

Apart from the Price, There is nothing attractive about this watch. The design. The compass like design, "Automatic" mentioned on the top below brand name. the polishing levels are also poor. Anyone planning to buy this need to save more money & go for Seiko.
