Thanks. It seems to do ok. It feels really heavy compared to my other crawler.

TRX4 portals are on the way. :) I'm going to fix the axle that broke to use on my next build. I have a carbon chassis and other bits coming for that.

Thank you. I have thought about doing build videos. The reason that I have not done one yet is because I change things a lot. For example, I am considering longer shocks on this crawler. I'm also considering extending the front links about 10mm. I have already changed the wheels and tires. If I get it to the point where I don't think I need to change anything I might make a detailed build video. :)

I tried thread locker a couple of times, and the screw still backed out. I finally put J.B. Weld on the screw before I put it in. Haven't had any problems since I did that.

Unfortunately no. There is not a lot of things on an MN99 that is easy or straight forward. A little bit of mechanical inclination is required. It is also not a very efficient upgrade. I had to buy two sets of links to get the 8 links that I needed. I'm sure that there are other options. It did make a huge difference on how "tippy" the truck was. It drives a lot better now. After the holidays I will make another video showing how it drives now.

I should probably make another video on this car. I've made a few changes since I made this one. In this video it was on 2s and I think the motor was still the stock 2435 3900kv. It now runs on 3s and has a 2440 4200kv motor. It's a bit bonkers now.

Doesn't matter what time it is. If she knows I'm coming ahead of time, she will make me pancit and lumpia. Filipino hospitality. :)

They are Associated DR10. 4 of the cars on the table are DR10. They all have Proline no prep bodies. The purple one is a '78 Malibu. The orange one is a '70 GTO Judge. There is a black and gunmetal '67 Mustang. And the last one is a black '70 Charger.

Didn't even lose a side mirror. ;-)

You're too kind. :) The MN still needs a lot of work. But I have hopes for it. They are fun to play with if you like a challenge. :oP

Yes. There is a gear reduction at the portal. If you run the 2 speed transmission you can get a decent top speed in 2nd gear while still being able to crawl in 1st gear. Hope this helps.
