Lol not for u? Wow. Im not going to insult your taste but we have very different tastes. This is a treasure by me. Easily a 90+ bottle. Probably my fav hazelburn and i love all the hazelburns! Im confident now ur opinion wont be helpful to me Edit: 😳🫣🫢😬im so embarrassed! My 15yr hazelburn is from 2022! I dont have this specific bottle i totally made a mistake! Yikes! Im so surprised tho that its much worse as u describe it than the 2022. I didn't realize they made another 15yr hazelburn, that's wild! Did u have the 2022, i wonder how you'd compare it? Anyway disregard my stupid comment above, i cant say anything as ive never tried this, and your review seems very informative

During COVID discover many single malt brands from far MACALLAN my favorite one, but it's becoming too expansive like Rolls Royce problem can't switch to another brand with same deepness of flavor and quality !😥

I have an unopened 1983 18yo bottle in it's original container and plan to open it with my 5 brothers as I turn 65 this fall 2024. Don't want to wait much longer as my pallet may not be as sensative in following years. Paid about $90us for each of 4 bottles in 1985, sipped 3 bottles over 42 years. Never tried the 12yo however given it is now $400us I would give it a try given your award of 1 point difference 89 vs. 90 McCallan 18yo. I have always found this to be a favorite for memorable occasions. I have no experience with other single row malts as I never consumed enough to venture out of my McCallan 18yo back yard. I am sure others are very nice as well. Thanks for the review, Caio!

Lots of expressions of them we can't find here unfortunately but I'm happy to have the 4 ones I could find (Timmer, Hav, Dalvve/Sherry Influence & an expensive powerhouse Adelphi CS 8 yo), so I hope they'll bring us more here in the near future...

Looking forward to see this one arrived here (I tasted 2 OB expressions & one from Berry Bros & Rudd last year), as I liked the 2 first ones, Sköl ! 🥃

Lovely dram...but imho heavily overpriced..almost twice the price of the 13yo on the Swedish market....not worth it....I rather buy two bottles of the 13yo...no doubt whatsoever whatsoever

Wow, whay a steal for 67eur! I really enjoyed Craigellachie 15 yo expression from Douglas Laig Old Particulars Midnight series, which was 57.9 % ABV and sherry butt finish, such a lovely whisky and solid distillery!

67 euro? Not finding the 17 for anything close to that in North America or the UK for that mater. I was happy to get it at $146 Cad in Ontario on sale.

I've always loved these Black Art releases. My guess is the sherry casks are French Oak, high end. The 4.1 (23 year) is still my favorite but I haven't tried any past batch 7.

Seeing how many single malts are lower ABV. I can see how you wouldn’t have a good experience with American whiskey. Yes there are some single malts that have a decent ABV but there are many more that are 40%. I do drink all spirits and I enjoy many scotches. Big fan of Lagavulin 16 though it’s as smoky as I go tried the Ardbeg 10 and it was like chewing a charcoal briquette I am going to go back to some peated whisky to give it a fair shake. Good review everyone has a different palate and even I have some whiskey I find a bit off putting. Good luck in your journey. Cheers!!

I don't think there is a bourbon that would ever compare to a single malt, they are just to different, I drank nothing but bourbon and rye for 30 years or more, then I received the classic malts of Scotland as a Christmas gift about 14 years ago, in it was 3- 100 ml bottles of lagavulin 16, talisker 10 and the cragganmore 12, I have been a scotch lover ever since.
