I was expecting a shot of your school photo in uniform
Ha, no this is my brothers senior year High school football highlights….
Hey hope u had a great run on the Hoka Hey, just wanted to let ya know my bud was in a few of your pics Riot.
Hey, yep had a great run this past year!!! Love me some Riot!!!! Great dude!! Thanks for checking out the vid!!!
Great video of the start. What kind of windshield do you run?
Hey thanks! It’s a Mad Stad , best money I have ever spent ….
@@jmillrider2723 thanks ill check it out
@@jmillrider2723 just ordered me one cant wait to give it a go
@@sugarbearsadventures tip for ya, I ordered mine custom cut, I added two inches to each side, really keeps your hands out of the direct wind, especially rain
Great videos. Would you mind sharing what king of jacket and pants you had on? Also are the rain proof or do you still put rain gear on over that?
Klim Latitude: waterproof gore-tex, breathable, armor…. Just close up your vents if it is going to rain
@@jmillrider2723 Unless your riding in 90 degree weather in south FL then open up those vents and pray the water cools ya down :)
@AttorneyThatRides I hate those vents, I keep them blocked with black foam….
@@jmillrider2723 Are we talking about the Klim arm vents? That's what I is talking bout bruh!
@AttorneyThatRides oh no I thought you meant the roadglide vents… i believe they are open if I remember right….
MinneSNOWta! Lake Superior is in my neck of the woods and a great place to explore. I'm hoping to ride in 2024!
Awesome ! Do you have a phone call coming up?
@@jmillrider2723 phone call with Beth tomorrow! Interview with Junie is done. She told me I will get my number emailed once the interview with Beth is done BUT she would like me to have a mentor to make sure I’m up for the challenge
Cool! Congrats.. that is not unusual about the mentor, I have heard that a few times… the word challenge can be an understatement at times, people do perish during this event. So we all take it pretty seriously… there is the taco run in Oklahoma this April and the rendezvous in June. Come on and hang out…
Nice review!!!
Thanks!
Memories 🙏 Great video mate. #991
thank you sir!!
YO!
Yo!
Rider #804 approves of this awesome f*cking video.
Thanks Gabe!!!!
I hope you have the safest travels and the greatest and best adventures! ♡ Thank you for sharing your journey! I will live vicariously through you for the next 10-12 days!
Will do thank you !!!
I rode in the inaugural in 2010. Other than those of us that were riding, most people hadn’t even heard of the Hoka Hey and of those that had, many thought it was a scam. It’s changed a lot since then.
Yep I have heard many stories of those days….would have been interesting to be around them…….. shame not have have Jim around anymore, but the HH is such a great experience now, and an amazing family of Brother and Sister long riders…….give it another try! 10,000 miles in 10, 11, 12 days… hard to beat!
@@jmillrider2723 I miss Jim. He was a Good man that said exactly what he meant and could back it up. I felt so bad for Beth when she told me he had moved on.
Always a great time with my Hoka Hey family!
Absolutely
Great Job
I like your briefing v much. I had lot of diffrent Motorcycle my last 3 were BMW 1200 gsa top of the Line . Without exaguration I travaled from top of Alaska Lablador allover Usa And Canada Apx 300000 m This year I purchesed 110 Road Glide cvo only becoase I metsome rides in Sturges I want to partcypate in H H . I hope my H D will last
I’m sure it will, plenty of guys in the HHMC have bikes with 80, 90, 100, or more thousands miles
Great video guys!
Thanks for the de-brief. I've missed the registration deadline for 2020, but planning on being prepared for the 2022. Concerning the waterproof pouch you used for directions, was that homemade or did you buy it? what size is the directions-8x10? Finally, how did you attach it to your bike? I ride a Roadglide Limited. Thanks again
the pouch was bought on Amazon for water proof map pouch. i assume the directions are the 8x10. i attached it by two clips on my dash and a sort of velco at the bottom. You'll find most people have a tank bag and use a map pouch on the tank bag. i would suggest that you meet up with some HH vets at some of the gatherings, i.e. the 2nd Annual Small Mountain taco run in medicine park Oklahoma this April, and you could also come to the start of the challenge this august and talk with some people about their rides. Plus figuring this stuff all out, and trying different things is one of the best parts about the challenge itself. good luck JMillRider "F-Bomb" #878
@@jmillrider2723 Thanks for the reply. I will miss the start of the HH this year due to Sturgis obligations, but plan on attending the finish. I didn't know about the gathering in OK April until now. I will definitely attend that. Agreed on the planning for this. I'm currently obsessed lol
Keith Johnson you find details on Facebook look up 2nd annual small mountain taco run.. look up me FBOMB #878 or marlin “fish” #881
Thanks for debrief. Am running this fall, little intimidated at the turn by turn instructions, lol. I will be running it alone, did you run into other HHMC riders pretty consistently throughout the ride? Steve Eden #957
Also congrats on 6&7
