This is my 2nd channel. My main Channel is "Retro Gadget Man" On this channel I'll be taking a trip down memory lane back to childhood and reliving that nostalgia through vintage toys Lego and TV. And sometimes new toys that capture some of that previous nostagia.

I bought my copy of this set this year for $140 USD and surprisingly it came with every character except Batman and it was missing 12 pieces I just couldn’t believe it. The seller said he didn’t care to search and inventory it. I saw the listing and saw it was real lego, I only really wanted the build anyways, but I got very lucky
😯 That was an amazing price for the Genuine Lego version. You can pick up The missing figure and parts elsewhere. Still bargains to be had.
@@RetroToyMan the set looks 100% complete not missing any exclusive pieces. I filled in the gaps with my own collection. My 2024 collection is full of unbelievable finds so I encourage people to search around even for rare sets you’ll honestly be surprised Unless you want cloud city 2003 forget about that set it’s never not been 7K$

This is great. Honestly I would replace all of the plates with official lego plates because they might be slightly bigger then lego studs. Otherwise great case.
Its a shame they didnt make these with the ability to have a flat (non-studded) side to the base plate so they could be used by any toy collector and not just Lego. My nephew uses his for storing Hot Wheels in and id like to use them to store Monster In My Pocket figures but they wouldnt stand well on bumpy studs.
You could cover the studs with smooth Lego or compatible plates.
I have 2 of these and I replaced all the 6x14 plates with new ones from Lego Pick A Brick which was eye-wateringly expensive. I do find the LED lights a bit too bright TBH but overall they are ok 👍👍
@@philliprushton4217 yes I agree a bit to bright. Maybe some scotch tape would act as a defuser and reduce the glare. I may change out the base plates yet.

@@secretasianman3541 have you had a look in Walmart or you local big chain toy store. They are available in Australia so I bet they are in the US
These exact units are sold by Kmart in Australia under their Anko brand. We only pay A$42 or about £21. They’re great for displaying HotWheels cars. Buy 2x2 blocks and a 2x4 plate and you can mount additional cars above the base layers.

No unfortunately. It is not wide enough.
I bought two for my Cobi minifigs. These travel to military shows with us so that we can exhibit the minifigs that aren't roaming the dioramas. I've got about 200 troops in each case..
@@billyskoda6839 that's alot of figs. I managed to fit about 160 so far. Need to re arrange.
@RetroToyMan I set three in a column, then overlap another three alongside, one stud across. Forms a mesh style pattern. It's not an issue when the majority are infantry or Panzer crews, rather than unique minifigs.. You try storing 350 ww2 models of 1:28 and similar.. 🤣
@@billyskoda6839 yer those other cases take up alot of space. I will definitely try something like your way to make use of the space and the height on each shelf.

Have 2 of these cases.. they came out last year! Bloody brilliant for LEGO minifigures! 🙌🏻 I use the minifigure base plates for each figure as well before they go on the 'non lego' studs in the display case 👍🏻
