To bad Disney couldn’t remove the Home Depot shed and build a different shop with the help of the imagineers instead of the merchandising department doing it on their own

Fresh Baked said that the construction by Cozy Cones is going to be a central ordering area for all of the cones, so that is where you'll place an in person order, and then go to the specific cone to pick it up.

I do t know why people are complaining about the gift shop. We just returned from New Orleans and it looks just like the carriage houses next to the mansions. This is definitely the style in Nola. Don’t forget carriage houses were actually barns to house the horses.
Yes, I remember seeing the carriage farm like style houses while visiting New Orleans and I would also say it’s also a very similar design to Walt’s barn. The only big difference is those carriage houses and older style barns were built very differently. Although they may look similar at a glance. This one is very obvious to be a pre fabricated kit or a Pre-Designed Barn Kit. The designer itself is not hideous. I just feel a designed building would have been much better rather than a barn kit they purchased.
I can’t believe they didn’t consult imagineering for that shop. I didn’t even know that was possible, I thought everything parks related is Imagineering’s domain. It just blows my mind.
Neither did I. I was aware that imagineering was its own entity but never thought they wouldn’t be considered on attraction related project such as this one especially connecting to HM.
It's all in the shareholders control. Imagineers rarely touch anything anymore
Madame Leota’s shop is indeed a kit that is meant to be a backyard barn or maybe even a she shed but it wasn’t made by imagineers and people at disneu
I feel like this is Disneylands first attempt to not collaborate with errors and try to create it on their own. Wish they would’ve went the Imagineering route

I would say not until after the new year. Rumor is that some permits still need to be approved before opening.
The Haunted Mansion gift shop looks like a homage to Walt's Barn.
