    Hi Hannah! I loved the video but when you mentioned no-code at the end I was like YES! I didn’t expect to see no-code in your list, I totally agree that it’s extremely powerful. My two favourites are the same as yours actually. I started doing entrepreneurship since January and have a tiny business where I make no-code apps for others (like an agency basically). And I have been wanting to make TH-cam channel for a long time but still didn’t have the time or courage to do it. I admire so much that you are able to juggle all these things at the same time and not be afraid. That’s very inspirational to me. Also with TH-cam I think it’s common to overly focus on the numbers and forget how much value you bring to others. I think your content is very useful, and I believe you have a big positive impact on people, even if there aren’t that many of us yet :)

    • @hnnhml

      Oh thats so cool! I thought about starting a no-code freelancing business too, because I like building apps so much - and I think its got a lot of potential. You should definitely start a youtube channel! Although I do understand your concerns about time.. it is indeed very time intensive:D so my ability to juggle at all might come across better than it actually is😅 I’m still trying to improve on that part.. 🥹thank you so much, that means a lot to me!!🥰

    Great summary, so instead of trying to find the "big" business idea, try working on smaller ideas fairly quickly! Is there a book that helps introverts understand which niche should they choose in which they don't need to do all the extrovert actions these books try to push? I understand every business requires talking to people and being social but some require limited social contact and some require connecting with hundreds of people. So how does one find business ideas and techniques which introverts can too use?

    • @hnnhml
      @hnnhml 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Happy you found it helpful ☺️ I don’t know of any book off the top of my head, but another great way to look for business ideas without actually talking to people in real life is using forums like reddit or quora, and reading what people in groups/subreddits that align with your interests struggle with, for example:) And advertising a landing page can also be done through forums like these, or through SEO or paid ads - no direct, live people contact necessary;)

However, for anyone who is just “starting out” with a frugal(ish) lifestyle, I think the best tip is to just be conscious about what’s being spent. 🥹 thank you so much for your words, you don’t know what that means to me! Thank you for being here:) And thanks for the tip, I can imagine a monitor to help..but since I don’t have a proper working space but work from my “main” table, so far the aesthetics have kept me from getting a monitor..I’ll definitely get one though once I have a dedicated work desk:D

      I was contemplating whether I should include insurances in this video:D I currently only have insurances that are “mandatory” in my country, all non-mandatory ones I have paused for now to save money - health insurance for example I have to have (and all options basically cost the same) so there is no wiggle room for saving money, which is why I didn’t include it in the video:)

    Thank you for sharing your experience! After 2 years of struggling I really considered of quitting my job right now. I hate my daily routine and got stuck in avolition, couldn't complete any simple task in my daily life, and I just got so thrilled when watched many TH-cam videos saying everything will be okay after quitting your job. I'm grateful to see the other side of the story, maybe what I need now is to slow my life down and regenerate my health and energy before making some important decisions. Thank you again Hannah wish you all the best~

    I've been doing the 'do my own thing' all my life. And I value the freedom and adventure - but looking back I always have had 2 completely different type of jobs. 1 passion/career job taking a lot of energy (ambitious, concentrate in front of a computer etc)- and 1 completely different job like a weekend job in a restaurant (not manager, dishwasher, host, at times server - but never manager). These 2 completely different jobs have made me balance things best. Just sharing in case helpful for someone reading this..

    Wow, thank you so much for sharing your incredible journey to achieving body recomposition, Hannah! Your story is truly inspiring and has motivated me to make positive changes in my own fitness and health journey. 💪 I appreciate the invaluable tips and insights you've provided in this video. 🏋‍♀ Looking forward to implementing your advice into my daily routine. 🌟 How did you stay motivated and consistent throughout your body recomposition journey, especially during challenging times? 🤔

      @hnnhml หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh this makes me so happy to read😍 thank you!! Good question! It can definitely be tough to stay consistent, and honestly I think what helps with that is to have clear routines and habits, so that you don’t have to think about if/what you should workout or what you should eat. Having healthy, protein rich and filling go-to meals that you enjoy (!) helped me a lot, because I didn’t have to waste energy on thinking about what to have for dinner etc. And I think the most important thing is balance - I regularly took “breaks”, took regeneration days with no workouts (except walking/biking), and did intuitive eating days, for example on weekend trips or at birthdays parties. I hope that helps:)🙌🏻

    Thank you so much for sharing this incredibly insightful video! 🙌🌟 Your tips on avoiding rookie mistakes when starting a business are precious and practical. I appreciate the detailed breakdown of how having a clear, solid business plan, and surrounding oneself with like-minded individuals can make all the difference. Your emphasis on the importance of taking breaks and reflecting is also something I resonate with deeply. 🤔💼💡 Could you provide more insights on effectively adjusting a business plan along the entrepreneurial journey? What are some specific strategies or best practices for this? Thank you in advance!

      Thank you so much, I’m so happy you found it helpful ☺️ I think that depends on your business, but its always helpful to have a plan that (not only but especially) includes a proper and promising business model, aka a plan how to make money, as well as a go to market strategy, aka a plan how to get (first) customers. And on top of it all, a clear problem definition and how you’re planning on solving that problem, aka who would pay you for what you’re offering and what they would choose your offering over the competitors’. And then regularly checking if you’re still on the right journey, and adjusting the plan if needed (which will most likely happen):)

      My workplace culture had eroded. No sense of teamwork anymore. Burnt out working 60 hours a week on the regular. Work life balance meant nothing to my employer. My supervisor got his position by default and is lazy and immature. His micromanaging was the last straw so I quit on the spot two weeks ago. I'm currently living off my savings. I can survive for about the next five or six months but I have never felt so free after quitting my job. I have an interview Thursday for a PE teacher position. Life's work. Stout hearts.

    Too many people have fallen victim to the whole side hustle, content creator, app developer, "be your own boss" bandwagon phenomena. It reminds me of the era right before the housing crisis when everyone began flipping houses because they didn't want to feel left out from the herd. People are starting their own business as an out in order to escape the toxic and humdrum corporate culture but don't always have the right approach. They read too much into their farcical new business ideas and resort to confirmation bias when doing research while eschewing the red flags. Also, hanging around too many enablers telling you that "it's a great idea....do it!" is a recipe for disaster. If you don't like the corporate world, you probably won't like the entrepreneurial world either. They're but cesspools of stress.

    • @hnnhml
      @hnnhml หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting point of view! I don’t think I fully agree, but I do agree that this being your own boss trend is contagious and isn’t for everyone. I still think its the thing for me, and a 9-5 is not, but that’s probably not the case for everyone:)

      @@hnnhml Here's the thing: I got laid off a couple of months ago from a tech firm and, as you already know, the job market is terrible right now. Everybody's advising me to start my own thing....but start what?? And I got the $$$$ to do it, but I want to hold onto to my money. Starting a business because you're disenchanted with the 9-5 hamster wheel is a gamble because your dream business can turn into a nightmare. Your clients, creditors, etc., are going to be just as demanding and toxic. At least in the 9-5 corporate realm you're not dealing with your own money.

  • @Mlogan11
    @Mlogan11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The road to success always starts with a plan. The better the plan, the better the odds. Your stress was increased by not having a more detailed plan for leaving your 9-5. 1st is income: you have to be conservative in how long it will take for your ideas to be monetized and during that time you will still need to pay your bills. Saving at least 1-2 years of income isn't extreme and is actually on the low side. Cutting expenses to the bone is necessary such as moving back with parents to drop expensive housing costs. 2nd is expectations for success. It's great to be optimistic, but you MUST PLAN for bad scenarios too. Many businesses fail and many take years to see a profit, if any. So you have to research your area of interest to see how long it took people to become successful as well as the failure rate. As a general rule, the easier it is to get into a field, the higher the failure rate for success because there is more competition. Planning the right way would have alleviated much of the stress of lack of income and having to grind it out to be successful. The old saying is an entrepreneur is a person who would rather work 80 hrs/wk for themselves than 40hrs/wk for someone else. This is quite true as you will be working much harder for yourself in trying to succeed than just doing the easy 9-5. One path is to keep the 9-5 while working part time on your personal business, and only consider quitter once the business is built up to a level where it can pay the bills. Good luck!
