i don't normally do something as wild as this... (although you may not consider it wild but it was at least slightly so in my standards haha) it was such a blast. although in the beginning i encountered some challenges getting to the venue but overall i think it went smoothly. glad that i saw this wonderful performace by Taylor!

Hi everyone in this video i wanted to show you how i celebrated the chinese new year this year. In the past few years, I had celebrated it in the county (a higher administrative area than the village/countryside) but this year I celebrated it in the countryside and found it to be more fun!

Thanks so much for this video. I especially like the part where your grandmother and you visit the local village market. I visited my maternal great grandfather home in China 12 years ago and we also visited the local village too. It was so interesting seeing all so interesting. I am a 3rd generation overseas born Chinese.

You look and sounded smart so you shouldn't listen to Taylor Swift. You should listen to instrumental music and music from like Adele, John Legend, Coldplay,. Sorry to say, Taylor Swift music is for teens and young immature girls.

You speak English as it should be spoken. You put the English, or rather Singlish, Singaporeans to shame.

She clearly has studied aboard that’s why she can speak English well. Not difficult to tell her accent has some British accent. If she has lived in china her whole life, do u think she can speak that well??😂China has 1.5b ppl so having a few that can speak well not surprising at all.🙄 Nobody is feeling ashamed on our English EXCEPT U. Singlish was even officially been accepted by OXFORD dictionary 3 decades ago, thats our pride too. Singaporeans are gd in code switching depends on who we met unless u belong to the group of lowly uneducated ppl? Singaporeans don’t even need to travel aboard to learn English cos English is our language & has been our 1st language since our independence days.🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬

Sally, you speak impeccable English. On your next trip here pls go to the Sky Garden on the 51st level of Capita Spring Building to get a panoramic view of Singapore. It’s highly instagramable and the best part is it’s free!

Next trip, if you ever come back to Singapore, explore the neighbourhoods, hawker centres, HDB areas and other destinations like Sentosa. Singapore welcomes the cultured, respectful ones from China and other countries.
