Without the N64 controller this game feels very twitchy on joycons. If you can get into the groove this game will give you some of the most exhilarating 3rd lap finishes you will ever have, nothing quite like overtaking in the final straight to win a GP in f zero x.

This was definitely an interesting mode in Salmon Run, and hopefully there'll be more in the future. It definitely gave a bit of a challenge.
Playing games is so much fun.
Honestly, this game has been a lot more fun than I had expected
awww dude don't stop playing, I'd much rather watch someone improve their skills over time than watch one of the f zero titans score yet another win in a sea of wins. You not just racing against 99 people, you also racing against yourself and every race in this video you killed it.

@@retrowolf6482 hell yeah! one thing that's really lacking in this game is the social aspect, I'm glad for youtube and discord bringing everyone together, I get to watch you get better at the game and it's exciting :)
@@ThrashCommander Honestly, having Discord around has definitely helped me discover quite a few communities (which has definitely helped with the social aspect). I've definitely picked up a few tips here and there as a result as well.

F-Zero 99. It'd being offered on the Nintendo Switch currently.
Solo won due to the question Japan was given... and 80% of splatoon's players are Japan. So on worldwide splatoon fests, just go with Japan vote

On the last dot, for the countdown, hold the acceleration button for the boost on speed in the beginning of the race. Don't forget to drift during the turns, on certain turns, you can blast turn, tap and let go, constantly till u finish the turn, will help from spinning out during the turn. In some sharper turns you might have to completely let go of the acceleration button and hold the drift button, I think it's called. Might have to boost after to recover speed but it's up to you based on ur power bar.

I do! I remember discovering him back in 2013 with his Super Metroid acapella.
Just a mirror match! They're pretty common, unfortunately. I think it was Nintendo's way of preventing what happened in the first Splatfest, where only a few tri-color battles were happening, and it was a gamble of whether or not you'd get into a tri-color or the regular 4v4.
Has it always been pretty common? I've noticed it happened more during late March's/early April's Splatfest, especially with Tri-Color Battles being a separate thing instead of random.
@@retrowolf6482 It has been for me, at least. I don't usually play tri-color, I just stick to pro, which is strictly 4v4 solo queue. But even then, about a quarter to a half of the matches I play end up being mirror matches.
