Allow me a small experiment from Dollarhide road. I will go open AVE hardware and pick up a few objects aimed at Green Acres school address. If I get it right, the school should notice a little change there since everything stays it's route. So I'll go look at some videos and images avd see if I can notice a brand of pen or some tool used at Green Acres school. I'm Jennifer M Herron, 51 years old. I was born & raised in Visalia. This is deep access and isn't safe for kids. The trail leads straight past a febce. O have to state this for you because you're in here too and may feel the way I do. This trail iruns side by side with items sold on store shelves. That's too far into our household privacy. It feels like we're in public with no clothes on. Yey6we keep a lawn, a fence and a door with a public access road just in front. The numerical figures say and point to too much. There should be no one from my school years at VUSD in my phone, nor on these old family's account. We can't see what's coming down behind us. Look up towards Missouri. You can't see, either. So it's a raw feeling to find that maybe, someone held this lead and has attached to social media. The area is heavy with TH-cam videos and adult games. This isn't a safe place for me at age 51. It's also intimidating to have kids at me here. This is the area of Dogecoin and Bitcoin. Odd. I'm giving the workings of the Android tool a deep thumbs down. Thanks for inviting the public.

You need to stop lowering the standards of education because you keep passing children no matter if they do their work or not. Some 4,5 can't even read or do math.

Where can we get the test results for our own children?

The district assigned us mastery I ready practices and there was a mastery check after a mastery check. personally on how much test you’re trying to give us I feel overworked.

All that I got at my school was a lesson. Still never forget.

My child consistently scores way beyond grade level (high school and college level) yet VUSD offers so little opportunities to students like this. So they excel, what happens? They sit in class bored because there's no challenge. Focus is always all on the students with issues and concerns. Students excelling are absolutely left behind, it makes no sense

I truly support what the district is trying to accomplish; however, taking away the AR platform and goals at schools seems like a step backwards. We want to improve our children's English skills and reading but are taking away a tool that encouraged them to read and meet goals. I have not seen that the iReady tool has the same function.

The math work is so confusing. Sitting down and doing math homework with my child is a challenge. He is only in second grade and some of these math questions don’t make any sense. You complicated a simple math question. Maybe the school curriculum is not the best and could be why test scores are not to par.

Why don't the teachers assign those reading practices ( reading plus writing)

I strongly encourage homework. It was explained to me that you guys decided homework wasn't beneficial to the students but that makes nonsense because homework is practice for the tests.

This is the first time I ever heard a superintend actually say that he is not satisfied with the scores. Pretty goddamn refreshing. Thank you for the transparency. I might not agree with you on everything but I do agree that you’re doing a damn good job.

This has been a growing event each year. Thank you to all the 1st Responders who gave some time out of their morning to be present to a generation that didn’t experience 9-11. Never Forget
