Also, fwiw, I bought the link tool just to the right of the one you said you bought in your video and it works. Auto-switches without issue too.

Thanks mayn,! A week ago your video was the first one I found that simply explained why it wasn't working for me on my 2013 Mazda 3i. I replaced the EHAPS module because I fried my original. When I loaded the as built and hit write all, it wasn't working. The key thing I was missing was I had to click "Load Factory AB" when on that page and then "Write All". I originally thought that the as built data was loaded when you clicked "Module Configuration (AS BUILT format)" and then just needed to click "Write All". Plus I like your reference to the "stupid fuckin thing" 😅

Big issue is what happens when FORscan does not connect to the PSCM? I replaced the steering rack in my 2022 Bronco Badlands 2.3 Manual transmission but the ECU will not establish a connection with either the new PSCM OR the original PSCM. There is no PSCM listed in the FORscan modules list at all. This is also happening on my friends Bronco 2021 Badlands 2.3 Manual transmission. How would one go about regaining that connection or having the ECU force discover it? Thank you.

Maybe you either have a blown fuse for the PSCM, an open connection somewhere, or received a bad module. On my mazda, I fried the original unit that was in the car so it was not responding or showing up over the CAN network in FORscan, but once I put the new one in, it was. I spent a few hundred extra and went with a new OEM part rather than a used or reman because I didn't want to hook it up and experience what you are experiencing.

Looks like i'm about to replace my rack, 2012 F-150 5.0. Up here in Canada the dealer wants $4500 to do it for me. I'm pretty damn sure this is the only useful video that i've seen. Can I ask what year/model this vehicle was? Thanks a million
