You have three choices: you buy, you rent or you sleep on the street. I'd rather buy the house than pay rent because at least I get something out of buying a house. And what happens if you don't buy a house and turn 40? Will you then buy one and keep working till you're 70 or just don't buy one at all and don't have anything to leave to your children and a place to live your last days "in the comfort of your own house"?
