Congrats on the Dawson box loader! Very nice indeed. Chanced upon an ad for about 200 A&G base cards here, so I bought those, will get em on Monday. Hope some minis are mixed in. Florence of Arabia, hehe. And Durban is in South Africa, never been there, but I did have some officemates from South Africa a few years back.

I lasted 5 minutes on this show. Not your traditional way to open packs on video. Too much jabbing and backs of cards. Your channel will not be successful with this method. You seem like a good fellow, just saying.

I do like the premium patches that they use in their memorabilia cards. I also noticed that some of the premium cards are also numbered. And in these they tell you that the jersey piece is game worn by the player. Panini products mostly tell you their patches are not from any specific player or event. At least with Sportkings, they tell you the featured player wore the piece of jersey on the card.

Always nice to see you pick up a Dawson. Plus Yaz and Reggie too! Ronnie Chieng is pretty funny! Bit of a bias for me since I'm also Asian.

Am collecting those 2023 topps numbered cards (1954 Topps style) of the old Brookyn Dodgers and other 50s-70s stars (PeeWee Reese, Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, Campanella, plus Gary Carter, Thurman Munson and Johnny Bench). Ordered in Ebay and they should reach my aunt's house in SF by February, then she'll bring them to me in August. Had a mixed experience with Ebay: more than half of my orders didn't reach the NY hotel. A couple have been returned to the sellers, so I had them resent to SF- that includes one with several A&G minis, excited about that! A couple have been refunded. Ah, Ebay and USPS...

Nice Ted Williams, Cy Young and Jackie Robinson. I don't get why they include barbers. I get you on the cheaters, yeah I wouldn't like all of them to get in.

Hey Rob! I'm back in Singapore now, and I didn't get to visit any card shop in New York :( . I did get to buy some cards from Ebay: some Gypsy Queen minis, boxtoppers/boxloaders (Judge, Maddux, Travis Fryman,Sandy Koufax , Moke Trout and Rafael Devers) and a few Dale Murphy cards added to my PC, so it turned out okay as far as cards go. I'll hold you to that White card offer when I go to San Francisco again ;). That was a nice run of Hall Of Famers in there.

You're welcome, Rob! Nice grading on the cardboard hehe. 😊 That Score card was from a 1990 100 Hottest Players in Baseball set. I bought it here with about 20 cards missing, not bad at all. It came with a book with background on each of the players. Too bad the Dale Murphy card was missing, that's who I collect mainly, plus modern/insert cards of 70s and older players. I will be in NY on December 25th. Probably not a good idea to send me stuff there as mail takes a long time. I did buy some cards from Ebay last month so they should be there when I arrive. And I'll try to hit a card shop or two while I'm there. Nice Bo and Gronk! Any thought on having the Trout graded?
