❤❤❤😢Thank you .. Exactly what I needed to hear.
Probably the largest in the country. Excellent work you're doing.
I have a very pressing health issue. Several in fact. My doctor dose not get back with me timely for my refills. I have one more dose of levimer(insulin) but their not sure when I'll get it. I've called 3 days ago and Megan says all she sees is my call today. I told her that, not only did I call but Walmart pharmacy called as well, 3 days ago. But I'm suppose to go by what's in front of her. Plus, if I want to check on an appointment or make an appointment like today, there was a 45 minute hold time. They offer a call back so as to not loose my place in line, but half the time, they fail to call back! I'm still on a call back wait from December! Can anyone help me?
Quality Patient Care means to patients: care that is Timely, Adequate, Individualized, Coordinated, Effective and Meets our Whole Person needs. Who pays the Patient Advocate? The health care institution. Because that is who you will be loyal to -not the patient.
Can you NOT leave this babble on every patient advocate video?
Apparently never suffered medically-induced trauma, never experienced the Reality of our healthcare system if you respond to someone like that. Given this attitude, it would be best for your patients if you chose to stay far away from the health profession.
@@CherylVanEpps Absolutely correct! Always follow the money trail to realize whose narrative you can't question!
How do I get a patient advocate?

This is the most amazing job description ever. I want to do this! NAVIVATING through the Healthcare system as you go through your difficult times....Thank you, I wish more people would have more passion for care as this woman does. 👩 ❤ 💕 Blessings, Peace and Love 💘
I'm a patient and patient advocate. I serve as a resource for patients and their network.
Really good and helpful information. thank you for posting this video.
This is the best video I've come across yet. She speaks with such passion in her voice. You can tell she really loves what she does.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can not believe that more people are not getting on board with this service. Every patient needs a patient advocate period. That is unless you have a Registered Nurse as family or friend. Do not go to any complex appointment without one.
hello, our health care institutions operate as businesses. Any "fixes" to healthcare will not cost the institution or slow down their process of delivering care: US healthcare is business-driven care. So called Patient Advocates paid by these institutions are no more than another layer of administration. Loyalty will ALWAYS lie with who pays them, not the patient.
@@CherylVanEpps She isn't talking about institutional paid patient advocates. They are paid by the hospital. She is referring to patient paid advocates. They help navigate the healthcare system which can be complex and overwhelming. They translate medical terminology and make sure the patient understands the processes and decisions.
I want to do this! :D
❤❤❤❤ go for it people are being mistreated....
Very good explanation
