0:25 Highly recommend you join, especially if you're in North Carolina in the area. And so, as you can see, this is the public view.
0:33 I'm not an admin on there, so this is what everybody sees. There's the About section, okay, some recent posts. And so, sometimes it can be confusing, not only because of the interface but because Facebook can change things around and then we have to relearn it.
0:49 So, I have two groups I want to compare. This is the Raleigh Business Network, and that happens to be a thing, right, RBN, ASBN.
0:58 There's also Holly Springs Small Business Network. I also recommend you recommend that group, um and some others, but here, this other group that I also own and manage is a private group.
1:10 So, there are some differences between private and public, but with both types of groups, if you want to edit the About section, you'll want to let me move this over, you want to scroll down on that left panel to Group Settings.
1:27 Okay, so here we are in Group Settings, and I'm going to do the same thing for the private group. There's a lot of other things to look at, but we're going to just go to Group Settings for both private and public, and you're going to see it's the same.
1:39 This one says Setup Group, Name, and Description. This one also says Setup Group, Name, and Description right at the top, and if you click the pencil, you can edit what it is you want to communicate introducing people to that group.
1:54 Same thing with the private group. Click the pencil, and you can edit the name if you want, and the description.
2:01 or details that you want to share. Save it when you're done. There are other things to look at, but basically, let me back page here and scroll down.
2:14 This on the front of the group is where you see, with both pages, public or private, there's the About section right there.

Still waiting after 2 weeks for name change. Getting the message 'You are unable to make additional requests at this time.' No way of accessing support. Very frustrating.
@@julietl7877 hi, things can be frustrating on Facebook for sure. Do you have at least 10 followers of your page? When you first put the request for the name change what was the initial response? Or are you saying that you’ve been trying for two weeks?
Thank you for your prompt response. Yes my business page has 45 followers. I put the request in 2 weeks ago and it said it would take 3 days. There are no page violations. Since the page hasn't updated to new name, I have retried and got the 'You can't make additional requests at this time.' Looking on Internet this is quite common and often unresolved unfortunately.
@@julietl7877 I would take a screenshot of the pending request and submit a help ticket to Facebook in Settings. Let me know if that works.
