I have collected music since the 50's embracing all genre, but especially rock'n roll and pop/beat/soul from the 50's, 60's and 70's have my interest. I will aim to upload the original Picture covers from Singles and EPs to oblige wiches from many collectors.
I'll try to find STEREO versions of the original mono-singles if possible.

The Music Explosion - Little Bit O'Soul [Extended] - [Stereo] - 1967
Recorded June 1967 at 'A-1 SOUND STUDIO', 8th Avenue, New York City. Produced by Jeff Katz, Jerry Kasenetz & Elliot Chiprut.
[LYRICS BELOW]
Musicians: James 'Jamie' Lyons (lead singer, tambourine, maracas & drums), Donald 'Tudor' Atkins (lead guitar), Richard 'Rick' Nesta (rhythm guitar), Burton 'Butch' Sahl (bass guitar & organ/piano) and Robert 'Bob' Avery (percussions, harmonica & guitar).
LITTLE BIT O'SOUL [Little Bit Of Soul]
Written by British songwriting duo: John Carter & Ken Lewis.
LYRICS:
[guitar-riff intro]
[verse 1]
Now when you're feelin' low and the fish won't bite
You need a little bit o' soul to put you right
You gotta make like you want to kneel and pray
And then a little bit of soul will come your way
[verse 2]
Now when your girl is gone and you're broke in two
You need a little bit o' soul to see you through
And when you raise the roof with your rock'n'roll
You'll get a lot more kicks with a little bit o' soul
[bridge]
And when your party falls 'cause ain't nobody groovin'
A little bit of soul and it really starts movin', yeah
[guitar-riff break]
[verse 3]
And when you're in a mess and you feel like cryin'
Just remember this little song of mine
And as you go through life tryin' to reach your goal
Just remember what I said about a little bit o'soul
[outro]
-A little bit o' soul, yeah (a little bit o' soul)
A little bit o' soul, yeah (a little bit o' soul)
A little bit o' soul, yeah (a little bit o' soul)
A little bit o' soul, yeah (a little bit o' soul)
A little bit o' soul, yeah (a little bit o' soul)

Masterpiece This song is 2 years older than I am and I have fond memories growing up on it in Jamaica ❤❤❤
Love it ❤❤❤
Great stereo separation. Thanks for posting ❤
Great sound
Great song from The Killer. Thanks for posting
Outstanding
Great song and sound. Thanks for posting!!
Great song and excellent sound. Thank you for posting!!
The guitar-riff reminds me of Eddie Cochran's 'Summertime Blues', but The Music Explosion do it perfect in their own way.
The fact Michael J. Fox didn’t actually play the guitar part. But learned the movements and fingerings so he could convincingly sell scene is nothing short of LEGENDARY! #classic
This is not the original 45 song. This version has no bass. I played this 45 to death when I bought it when it came out. Still got it. This was the first Hank Marvin solo ( on the original record not this) Also, just before the outro, Jet Harris fluffs his bassline. Wonderful organic music!
Super mono to stereo conversion . The song now sounds fantastic !!!
It's one of my long term favourites.
We were 3 Chinese kids in W.Oakland 94608 listening to the Essex, now 74, I still in Oakland. There was no I80 freeway, no big Emeryville. Nice to find out the singers were Marines, thank you! ❤ 🎉
Beautiful. Nostalgic.
Sounds great in stereo. It wasn't issued in stereo in 1964 because there was no album release to support "Linda." The "Both Sides Now" collectors page by Mike Callahan explained that Smash Records was going to issue Dickey Lee's unreleased second album in 1964, but they decided to cancel it at the last minute to concentrate on the sudden success of Roger Miller, so "Linda" had no album to support it. "Linda" later appeared on oldies collections in mono or fake stereo.
War is a poor excuse for politics. It represents a failure by political leadership. In every case.
1956 was the year, when Elvis was at his best and real rockin'
THE RUBBER BAND is a Danish BEATLES-tribute band [renamed "BEATMAS" when making this special Xmas Album] - here playing the old WHITE XMAS with instrumental intro from 'Ticket To Ride' and part of John Lennon's 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over)'.
A very nice cover by Eddie Cochran... 🕵🏻🎶🙂👍👍
didnt know they made a song about my mental health
Thanks for posting this relative rarity. Some mistakes in your lyrics ....
muy bonita las canciones de mi epoca
Amazing version, Jet's bass!
Très bon qualité de son en Stéréo, Svp Elvis Presley (Surrender) et (Good Luck charme), et John Lennon (Imagine )merci beaucoup d'avance 😊
This track from AFTER-MATH only occurs on one 45 RPM record world-wide: the Portuguese EP "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadow" [DECCA PEP 1182].

Recorded at DECCA RECORDS Studio located in the PYTHIAN TEMPLE, 135 West 70th Street , New York. Bill Haley and his Comets recorded "Rock Around The Clock" here in 1954, and Buddy Holly recorded his only 'true' stereo recording here [Moondreams, True Love Ways, It Doesn't Matter Anymore & Raining In My Heart] - recorded on a three-track recorder October 21, 1958.
❤Gudomlig vacker musik. Hallo from Sweden ❤❤❤❤🎉
This was the start of Bobby's career, great sound, thank you for posting this classic song!!
Bo Diddley wrote it.....???? AMAZING......!!!
You really got me reelin', it's a high class feelin' When I see your eyes a-shinin', I'm on a silver linin' There can be no denyin', I feel just like I'm flyin' But when you're not around, my feet hit the ground In the juke joint with the gang, it's not the place to say 'I love you' But the moment I set eyes on you, I'm floating way above you There can be no denyin', I feel just like I'm flyin' But when you're not around, my feet hit the ground The way you walk, ah huh huh The way you talk, ah huh huh The way you smile and dance with me Makes me believe no need to grieve, there really is a chance for me When I hug you, when I kiss you, well, you know I can't resist you If you ever leave me darlin', you'll know I'm gonna miss you There can be no denyin', I feel just like I'm flyin' But when you're not around, my feet hit the ground (Instrumental, then repeat the whole song) But when you're not around, my feet hit the ground
Duane Allman seemed to play slide guitar in such a way as to try to sound like a saxophone or harmonica. He really admired Mr Curtis and attended his funeral
Love this song
Lov this song yes yes this some real shit right place right time
Me acuerdo de Riky Nelson
Not sure, a bit to fast.
Makes me think of my daddy. He gave me my love of oldies. Thanks for those great memories daddy. I love you❤
