Dementia and Human Flourishing
Is dementia and human flourishing a contradiction in terms? Or, can persons with dementia lead flourishing lives?
Given the move by Quebec to allow euthanasia for persons with dementia, CPL is hosting a series of webinars with speakers across different fields and with a wide range of experiences to engage these themes with us.
On Thursday, December 12th, 2024, CPL's Executive Director Nicole Scheidl and CPL's Cultural Engagement Lead Amanda Achtman was joined by Cindy Lewans to explore the evidence that persons with dementia never completely lose the capacity for meaningful life activities.
