People still blames Joel Schumacher for this, I can assure you, it really wasn't his fault. He was under strict instructions from Warner Bros. If you notice, Batman Forever was a fraction darker as originally it was a very dark movie. (There's a Schumacher cut still in the Warner Bros vault)! After Batman and Robin, Joel Schumacher wanted his next Batman film to be dark and grittier, actually based on Year One, but he never got the chance. Unfortunately, Schumacher was remembered for this. What upsets me the most was that Joel got forced to apologise for this disaster of a movie and WB did not accept any responsibility.

I collected these up until issue 38. Then i stopped. I also have the Batman Spawn / Spawn Batman issues as well.

This was an absolute abomination to the batman franchise

I think I spent over $100 used w/o the 3D glasses on eBay in 2005. For me, #3,#1, Freddy’s Dead and then 4&5 because we watched them all the time since someone gave those 2 tapes to us.
