That was for baling hay the round bails on old bailers you stop and it opens the door and drops the bail that made it easier to run all day
You got that right! It's also useful for running pumps or generators! The tractor doesn't need to be moving for the pto to spin, and it eliminates the need for a belt pulley!

I love that thing. Battery lasts about 20 minutes under heavy use and it's lighter and cleaner than my gas saws. For little stuff like I was doing its fantastic! I've even felled a couple of 12 inch diameter trees with that bad boy. It just takes a little bit longer
