8 kids of elementary school age & younger live on the quiet corner of Harvard Lane and Hawthorn Path. 86% of cars run the stop sign on this corner. Child safety has become a major concern on this Lakeville, Minnesota Street. Between May 21 & May 22, 2015, 2 hours of video was captured. Of the 42 vehicles who traveled through this intersection during this time, 36 could have been handed traffic ...

    To be fair a stop sign is probably not actually warranted in this location and a yield sign paired with traffic calming measures like a neighborhood traffic circle, diverters and speed tables would probably be a more appropriate and effective solution. That said, yes, unfortunately scofflaw motorists abound :(
