After lunch I set up my field camera and we spent some casual connection time together. It gave me THE BEST feeling when she relaxed and dozed off just behind me.

Following the morning’s Barrowgate, I decided to take my lunch and eat with Nova. I took her some hay and some hay cobs and a crate and sat just outside of her space in my protected contact area. I filmed the interaction so I can watch back and learn more about her facial expressions and signs of tension

Having left the barrow, I decided to go and get some hay cobs to scatter in the field to try and calm the situation. Nova followed, still clearly over threshold.

Nova became very interested in the barrow while I was poo picking which quickly led to her going over threshold and sending clear distance increasing signals at me. I stepped into protected contact which is when I began filming.
