Black Rappers who hate dark skin women
มุมมอง 9K7 ปีที่แล้ว
The urban Hip Hop community have never support our brown/ dark skinned women. They paint a picture to the community as if they’re ugly or not beautiful enough... Their lyrics shame our darker women and will showcase light skin, mix foreign, and white women as if they are beautiful. When will they broadcast and showcase are beautiful dark, brown skin women as Queens and beautiful..

Diana Ross was rumor to do anything to become the star back in the day. You couldn't denied her talent to become a star but were the rumors true of becoming a star at any cost.

    It’s been proven that a lot of the things mary wilson wrote are not true. Video proof lots of things have surfaced since she spoke. I certainly not. Everything is true, but plenty is. And see Gladys has told this story 500 times and she claims that she’s above it all but she tells it on every TV show and every interview and she always acts like oh my God how do you know about this. The one person you don’t hear towards anyone, is Diane ross. Gladys is a liar, and jealous of diana jealous of Aretha competitive with Patti, and why? Gladys has a great voice. The story she tells the segment she tells differently in her book and anyone who ever been on stage spotlight in their eyes, no, they cannot see someone standing across the arena door, let alone know who it is. Lying.

    weve all heard the stories about Diana, but when youre that talented and driven, its kinda to be expected up to a point, shes the best, shes the mega super duper star who out shines everyone and thats just how it is. it might not be fair on mary and florence obviously, but its like when you got michael jordan or maradona on your team you just gotta give em the ball, get outta their way and let them do their thing / the business. *and it doesnt even matter if /that florence had a better stronger voice than diana, many top singers to, but where it actually really counts- dianas voice is silk, velvet, pure magic, its perfect and no-one can beat it.

    Mary had a fantastic voice as well as a great personality. Her Motown Anthology is excellent- what a pleasure to hear her voice up front .Her solo discs are all wonderful. I have been a fan since 1965 .

    I had a boss when I worked for the phone company who told me that he previously worked as a road manager for all the Motown acts. His picture is at the Motown museum. He also told me that the reason his hair was gray prematurely was due to dealing with Diana Ross. Interesting.

    Like it or not, Diana Ross was a huge talent, the like of which we don't see today. Berry Gordy pulled Gladys Knight off the tour. Remember these girls were in their early twenties at the time, and every artist at Motown was notoriously manipulated by the company. If anyone signed with Motown, they were immediately in debt. Don't be too hasty to pour scorn on Ross. She took The Supremes and Motown to the highest highs in her wake.

    Nobody knows an outright psychopath when they see one? Or treat them appropriately. The Satanic piece of society is the fawning over her for decades just because she got rich and famous at other people's expense, with impunity. Society adores a vicious dog eat dog story. you cannot throw your friends under the bus without being a sociopath, and she only got worse. she diddled michael jackson, yes? he couldn't stand her, and you cam see the abuse show up in his aged character. when you're abused as a child, you don't hate the abusers, you learn to hate yourself and MJ was not in short supply for hate on himself. That is CLEARLY SEEN.. and he was exploited for 'talent' to the end. The Prey die.. the predators live, my dears.

    "Embracing Unique Talent and Charm: Real Life Lessons from Diana Ross and Gladys Knight" by Bryan O'Quinn It's funny how life works sometimes. It's like when I think about Diana Ross as this incredible crossover singer, creating this incredible connection with her audience. And you know what? It's kinda similar to what I've noticed in my own life. Women from different races seem to find different parts of my personality appealing. I remember my buddy (a good-looking guy with a great sense of humor ) and I hanging out together, and he'd be so surprised that he had this special effect on black women we would encounter together, while I didn't get as much attention from them. But hey, that's just how it goes, right? We all have our unique charms. My buddy was surprised that women from other races could relate to my jokes and communication style, and it's all about finding that connection with those who truly appreciates us for who we are. Just like Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, and those other talented ladies, you all keep mentioning, they don't appeal to the same audience ..we all have our unique flavors that make us shine. It doesn't take anything away from anyone else. We're all just different pieces of this beautiful puzzle we call life! This younger social media generation sometimes gets caught up in this whole "Who wore it best?" and "Who can sing louder and rougher?" kind of competition. But let me tell you, my friend, there's really no need for all that. Diana Ross probably felt the same way when she was younger. And you know what? Gladys Knight mentioned something similar in that video you watched. It's all about growing up and understanding, just like Ms. Ross said. We need to let go of that competitive mindset and embrace the fact that we're all on our own unique journeys.

    • @bryanoquinnvevo
      @bryanoquinnvevo 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, I totally agree with you. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but let's not forget a crucial part of the story. They always talk about how Diana Ross got Gladys Knight thrown off her tour, which paints Diana as the villain. But I think there's more to it. The Supremes were such a massive group; Only second to The Beatles, and Gladys might have felt a little envious deep down. Maybe she wanted to prove herself by going out there and showing out on Diana Ross' mic, but it backfired she got sent home. She not going to tell the story like that. It's important to call a spade a spade. However, I do appreciate that Ms Ross later acknowledged that they all had to grow up. We can learn from their experiences and strive for understanding.

    Mary admitted that Diana's agressiveness made the SUPREMES great. One can't help but wonder just how far do you go in pursuit of greatness(?) They were "childhood friends" from 13 yrs old when all they had was each other and a BIG DREAM. It speaks to "character" when referencing the things she did to get to "superstardom." It's a shame that her selfish insecurity blinded her from her own genuine talent. She had the "gift" Mr. Gordy wanted to support financially; she didn't have to cut her friends' throats. She got what she wanted but to many she will always be on the wrong side of history. Fame, at the cost of hurting anyone you think is in your way, is "devil's work."

    I liked Diana Ross as an artists but I don’t appreciate some of her interviews. She is a legend and is talented. I’d appreciate if she admits to things she’s done when younger that may not show her in the best light. It’s crazy how people will embarrass you publicly yet want to apologize privately. You don’t have to say every horrible thing you’ve done but it just lets me know you weren’t very nice and would step on anyone to get ahead. I don’t think being young unless you’re under 8 years old justifies nasty behavior. Don’t come for me in the comments. For those who are ok with her treatment of her fellow musicians then you would feel differently if it were you.🤷🏾‍♀️😳🙄
