I remember a buddy of mine did that whole tour and when he came back he had this show on tape, he was hyping up the whole tour but especially this show, saying this was the show of tour hands down.. I got a copy and remember listening to that tape over and over... My copy had cut off the last 3-4 min of ACDC Bag and it wasn't until many years later I finally heard the full version, never looked for it, my buddy told me they just go off and get weird for a few minutes 😅

On the official Live Phish version you unfortunately don’t hear Page’s clav very well. Either way this is near the top of my personal favorites of their best funk jams.

This is my favorite Phish set of all time and definitely my favorite type 1 Disease... and this may be the 3rd best song of the set behind the Bag and Gumbo. What an hour+ of music!!!

The most Raging DWD. Probably my favorite. Trey is seriously playing out of his mind and Fishman is rolling. Total Jedi style! How the hell do they play (jam) so fast?!! I recommend listening to the LIvePhish release for sound clarity true appreciation of what is going on.

A kinda boring first set with am absolutely fantastic second set to reward all of us for the huge "skip" show in Boise. The huge Bag, and of course this Disease is just Trey on fire the whole time with pure shred. He plays more notes in this Disease by 7:40 into it then he has in any Disease in 3.0. At 9:00 is just throws down the complete hose...

Im 32 and i still get the same googebumps from this as i did 15 years ago.

I spent the first set about 4 rows deep, during set break the 1/8th of mushrooms and 5 red bulls became too much and had to trade my bracelet in to some high school kids. The only thing that saved my ass that night is that those kids were right at the rail behind CK5. It was so damn incredible to watch him and Trey work together while 100 yrds away.....ah, good times
