We are newly married couple and we really like our new little Coach house. we hope that you'll enjoy following us as we renovate our home and garden. I have a background in building but only in electrics and carpentry, but I wouldn't say I'm the best. I can do all things through Christ Jesus.
U can do anything u want mate,I'm 72 still laying bricks and carrying a few injuries just keep at it your pick up more knowledge on your journey...

Why is that part by the door with different bricks sticking up like that? Looks like a tripping hazard.
I thought this was a dumb idea until I tried using a grout float on bevelled edge tiles and found it impossible to push the grout into the bevels and between the tiles with the float. Then I remembered this, grabbed a flexible plastic putty knife to trowel the grout in with (much better than a business card) and running my finger along the lines like you would do with caulking. Once I hit my stride it went almost as fast as the guys grouting conventionally in the other videos I watched but with somewhat less cleaning required.
