Love the shirts guys and this style of video. My favorite video of you guys so far. Can't wait for more.
Thank you for the support!!! I’m excited to tell you that we got the Pineapple Sausage Potato per your request! Review is coming soon
Love the tips, and thanks for the popcorn, I look forward to seeing this channel grow.
@@wizardchap9724 it was so great to meet you and chat about the park! Thanks for watching!
Wouldnt go to Disneyland until the view is off air. Say hello to Whoopi while there.
Thanks for watching!
Zach hit the nail on the head. No Facilier? No bueno. When I first caught wind of the plans to change Splash Mountain to Princess and the Log, my initial thought was how GREAT it would be during the section that would have him and his colorful voodoo buddies dancing around in a musical extravaganza...(if anyone has walked the Villains Grove at OBB, you'll know what I'm think'n) Then the news broke that it was a post-movie timeline...my heart sank. 😞
This is the ONE thing in the foodie guide I said I wouldn’t eat! However, for you, I’m in! We will be sure to grab one and give you our honest review of it! Thanks for being a great fan!
Great episode guys.... Glad you are trying food while you are there (I'm kind of a big foodie)...could one of you guys try the Santa's Vacation Sausage Potato with pickled pineapple and teriyaki sauce topped with mac salad on a potato.... it kind of sounds like a Hawaiian plate lunch but on a potato. I'm so curious about this one.
We were able to try Santa’s Vacation Sausage Potato today! Be sure to watch our upcoming episodes for our official review.
Have to agree with Zach...I likewise am a big fan of the citrus-y goodness of all things lemon...but the Lemon beignets were mediocre at best. Major letdown. :( I have yet to try the pear/blackberry/cheesecake/crustada...will have to keep an eye out for it.
We are going to be in The Park in a few weeks! We will do our best to get some footage of the Crostata and if we are all feeling brave, we will go try Tiana's Lemon Beignets again. Thanks for watching!
Love the food episodes.... I need to go to Disneyland with you guys and eat all these great foods.
We would love to have you join us! You could spend an entire day at The Park doing nothing but trying new food and dining around.
So, you can go chill at Grand Californian on a park day?
@@twaguespack04 absolutely! Use the entrance from Downtown Disney and you can go enjoy the lobby. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the vibes.
This could be an episode all to itself, but you can't leave out the Oogie Boogie Bash! Villains Grove is worth the price of admission alone. So many great, non-mainstream villain meet-and-greets throughout the park. How often do you get to go get a picture with the Honorable Sheriff of Nottingham?! Ticket sales have been a nightmare (no pun intended) in the past but I feel this year they did a bit better and hopefully the process will continue to improve. Preference between OG vs. Holiday HM is one of the hardest decisions to make in life. Love em both for different reasons...but gun to my head I think I have to go 51% OG to 49% Holiday.
Thanks for the comment! You'll have to tune in to the next episode to see our "OTHER" Top 5 reasons to go to Disneyland at Halloween time! Again... these aren't really in any particular order, but YES... Oogie Boogie Bash may just make the list. Thanks so much for watching!
Another great way to save on accommodations is to get comfortable with the "swinging" lifestyle and share a suite with a few other adult couples. 😜 One other tip that came to mind when pricing things out is to be mindful of the additional fees that a lot of hotels don't include in the nightly room price up front. (like $40 a day to park your car there)
Haha! You definitely get what you pay for, and when you're sharing with other couples and shooting for "Cheap"... you just may have to deal. Haha! The tacked on "hidden" fees is a good point! Sometimes it's parking, sometimes it's "resort fees" and so and and so on... so you're right, you DO need to watch for those in the booking fees before you complete your reservation. Thanks for watching!
Solid tips and tricks for saving money! Another "free" souvenir that came to mind was the "Batuuan Spira" gift card. A REALLY cool "metal gift card" that can be purchased in Galaxy's Edge and then the credit on the card can be used anywhere in the park, leaving you with a free Star Wars keepsake once the credit has been spent. I got one a few years back and it's now actually worth quite a bit to collectors on eBay etc. and it didn't cost me a dime. Another freebie to watch for is the translation cards that some cast members have at Indiana Jones: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. They allow you to translate a lot of the symbols and pictographs in the queue leading up to the ride. 👍
Ah yes, the Galaxy’s Edge gift cards that have come and gone and come again. I believe you can no longer get the gold medallions, but silver are limited and bronze fairly easy to find still. I remember when i got one and it really is a unique item! Also, although not free… collecting all of the different Galaxy’s Edge Coke bottles is fun too! Thanks for the comment!
I want to go to Disneyland just to eat the food now.... Great job guys.... Blue Bayou + Raspberry Macaron for the win!! BTW, You guys are hilarious. Can't wait for the next one.
If you decide that is an itch that needs to be scratched, give us a call!!! We would love to go and eat all the things with you! Thanks for watching.
In all fairness, I think ALL the food at Blue Bayou is unfairly augmented by the atmosphere. That being said, the lamb AND the salmon there is delicious. I honestly would be happy to make a reservation, order a mint julep and just chill by the water till they kicked me out. Speaking of which, it's a crying shame that the mint juleps at "The Mint Julep Bar" aren't the same quality as the ones from the Blue Bayou. #1 thing I get most excited about is the Banyan skewer and bacon wrapped asparagus skewer from Bengal BBQ if i'm feeling savory...if I want a sweet treat it's the classic no-frills Dole Whip with the Matterhorn macaroon coming in a close second. Most disappointing food experience was the Potato Leek Soup that was a seasonal offering during the Halloween season of 2023. Didn't come with the fried leeks on top, and when I returned to ask why they just said "we just don't do that anymore" (even though it's listed on the ingredients). Soup was bland and flavorless...the cool theming of the dish was lost to just a puddle of greyish green slop in a bread bowl. Failed in presentation AND flavor.
Man... is there anything worse than forking over the cash for some Disneyland food you're excited to try only to be let down by a bad experience? The Banyan skewer IS fantastic! Also love the Jungle Julep at the Bengal BBQ as well!
