Took Jake (my dog) to check the trail cam using my brand new GoPro HD Hero2. I plan on mounting it to my bow and my rifle this season to capture some video when I go hunting this year. Should be kinda neat! :)
4/27/11 - Tuscaloosa Tornado
มุมมอง 8M13 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is from the EF4 tornado that went through Tuscaloosa, AL on 4/27/11. It was taken from the University Mall parking lot. Probably the closest video to the storm your going to see. www.tuscaloosanews.com/article/20110508/NEWS/110509699 th-cam.com/video/CubSgq2lYc4/w-d-xo.html blog.al.com/spotnews/2011/05/capturing_april_27_tornado_vid.html
Erie how the radio station went out
The tornado that lead me to where I am today
That is ridiculous.
Guys I have a good question how did the tornado from far away tear that portion of belk after it
Old internet tendrils told me his son was somewhere upstream of the storm in university apartments. That the cell tower was knocked out while the radio played from a different tower. Couldn't call him and couldn't get closer. Started going into panic at the sight of what it had just done. I believe it. If I live a thousand years I'll never see it, but I absolutely believe the grapevine this time.
This video needs a motion sickness warning. Not great footage.
You must be young
@@certifiedbruhclassic7754 No, just allergic to shaky footage.
@@CapnNutbutter get over it, we're lucky to even have footage this up close and insane
The tornado is coming RIGHT AT the guy recording. Has to be one of the most horrifying experiences to stare down one of thise beasts coming your way.
after 4:10 when he pans back to it. what a terrifying shot
HI Jason, I'm an archive producer working at RAW TV. We're making a film about the Joplin tornado and have a section about the super outbreak of April 2011. Let me know the best way to reach you as we'd like to pay you a fee and get permission to use your footage. Best wishes, Nia Campbell Archive Producer, Raw TV.
Judgment storm
4 I will bring 🌪️ forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and stones thereof. Zech 5
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying 🌪️ roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and breadth thereof ten cubits.
THEN I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying 🌪️ roll.
Freaking eldritch horror, this tornado
It’s scary how in the beginning of this video, there are nice buildings, roads, and trees everywhere, and in the end, it’s basically a wasteland.
Bro those satellite tornados coming off that thing are insane!
Dam between the 4 to 5 minute mark is the most intense and amazing tornado footage Ive seen truly ground breaking👀
Really good footage too
The dead man couldn't be seen through all the debris and dirt, but he was there, i saw his legs come out.. when you see the deadman walking its a very dangerous tornado
This thing was an absolute EF5 monster that they underrated as EF4.
Some of the BEST footage of the Tuscaloosa tornado. He had to be within 1/4mile
5:04
creepy moment when it goes right behind that game stop and power goes out too the strip mall, one of my fav tornado vids ever.
10/10 footage, *Totally no shaking at all.*
One of the best tornado videos of all time
This man until like the last 3 mins was completely far too calm and far too sure of himself. Like when it came right on top of him there was no screaming freaking out or nothing literally just a quick move from one side of the parking lot to the other and tornado passed… but then and only then once the tornado passed does he start completely freaking out???!!!! So confused!!!
bro clearing his throat at 4:07 lol. same.
Bad audio can’t ruin a great tornado video. Unfortunately this was horrendous audio! Did you stick a jack half way into an amp or something?!?
I'll let him know so he can go back in time 13 years and fix it for you. <3
His giant balls held the car down
This is the tornado that sucked the Alabama punter and his girlfriend out of their house, killing her and injuring him
10/5/2024
* WHOAH! * That was really close! And that was one more really angry tornado! I don't live in Tuscaloosa, but seeing this on video, the way those satellite tornados kept lifting up around the main tornado? I couldn't have stayed that close, I would have gotten way clear of that the moment I saw just how angry that was and that it was heading my way! Great video! Hope you were able to calm down after that! That was something you'll never ever forget! /:-)
13 years ago today. 💔💔💔
"oh my God" is right.. Good lord...
you hear that shit? that demon was taking souls. this is why i still live in california. i'm not dealing with that bullshit.
Enjoy your cataclysmic earthquakes then
Omg
8 years ago I saw this video for the first time. Here I am 8 years later and this video still is some of the most incredible footage I’ve ever seen. The close up of the horizontal suction vortices at 4:20 and the trees beneath them being swallowed whole while the roar of a beast rips its way through the area only a mere hundreds of yards from the camera. It’s just something you can watch in awe over and over again
This is one of the more eerie tornadoes. It's side vortices looks like tentacles doing some evil dance as it smashes through Tuscaloosa.
Good example once again if it dosen't move it comes towards you and when the Roar get's louder, your time is slim to seek cover or get away from it. Great footage.
why does it sound like there is am radio on?
The hum of the dead radio makes this video very eerie.
MAY 3RD 1999 and MAY 20TH 2013 F5 TORNADOES 🌪 IN MOORE OKLAHOMA 1999 REGISTERED 318 MPH: THE HIGHEST WIND SPEED EVER RECORDED ON PLANET EARTH 🌎 2013 F5-210 MPH. MAY 31ST 2013 F5-NEAR 300MPH IN EL RENO OKLAHOMA. If I lived in Oklahoma in particular and definitely in the town of El Reno and Moore…I would absolutely have a shelter built into the ground about 15-20ft deep minimum!!! 🌪🌪🌪😵💫😵💫😵💫😬😬😬🤐🤐🤐😳😳😳😵😵😵
It sounds like Niagara Falls
4:29 Ironically, RaccoonEggs used this clip and now I know its origin.
Horizontal vortices reach out for more energy. It's like a living entity. 😨
So scarry 😨
And scary, too 😮
I don’t know how you were able to do what you did. I was about a mile away
This video still blows my mind. Unbelievable footage! Awesome
Cars are being sucked up into the funnel.
So are people, babies, cats, checkbooks, and silverware
I thought those were houses
I think this video is overrated and annoys me somewhat. There was so much missed if Judy would of filmed better and not moved around so much.
