Countryside Tour -- Cincinnati Concours D'Elegance 2024
The Cincinnati Concours D'Elegance returned again in June 2024. I decided to enjoy the entire weekend, starting with a nice scenic drive starting in Mariemont and finishing in Erlanger, Kentucky. We enjoyed some backroads and some nice terrain to drive on. We then finished at Collection 21, an auto museum with a very large collection of cars spanning the ages.

Eclipse Open House 2024

Eclipse Window Tinting brought their Open House back this summer. This was a PACKED event with tons of cars ranging from classics all the way up to supercars. This was a ton of fun seeing all the vehicles show out in what was a day of perfect weather. Thanks for Eclipse for hosting such a fun show again this year!

Earlier in May, I attended a drive starting in Indianapolis and headed back down to Cincinnati and then back up to Dayton to go through the National Museum of the United States Air Force. The day started pretty cool but quickly turned into an excellent early spring day for some driving with the convertible top down. Excellent stuff!

Picked up a 2015 S with 75k miles about 2 months ago. The PDK just went and the replacement is $15,000! 3rd party warranty will only pay $5000.

@@RubberChickenMan007 Yup! I have meticulous dealer service records from the previous owner. Thats one reason I bought the car. I also had the PDK serviced 1500 miles prior to it letting go.
Audi Q5 with a body kit, sorry...
As an owner of a 2018 S as well as a 2022 Q5 I can tell you they may share a platform and some parts but they are far different than “a body kit”.

First time viewer, so I'm not certain about your typical content. I will say, clean your car before you shoot it? The seat adjustments... just gross man. Advise, I have a Macan S 2020, and I bought a $150 adapter that plugs into the USB port and gives my car android auto. Reliable, simplistic & wireless. I'd check it out.
How much are oil changes and tire rotations??
Oil changes at the dealership are around $200-$300. However independent Euro shops are closer to $100-$150 for me. You can do it yourself pretty easily. Tire rotations can be done just about anywhere. Average cost for me for other vehicles has been $20-$50
Oil changes range from $80-$150 at independent shops in my area. Also please be aware that Macan rear tires are Wider than the front (for better stability). Therefore, you can rotate tires left-to-right, but Not front-to-back. This can lead to Macan tires wearing slightly faster than other vehicle tires that are rotated front to back. . . especially if you drive "aggressively" . 😁

67k miles at $27k. No issues other than a small Check Engine Light that was a very quick/small issue, not even noticeable.
Good video. Lived in Germany for over 10 years, I can answer the issue about remote start. It is not offered on these German made vehicles due to the laws in Germany. It is illegal to start and or have a vehicle idle with no driver.
Thanks for this video. Very enjoyable. I picked up my brand-new Macan S just a month ago and I am mind blown by it! You've absolutely nailed it with your comments on the PDK transmission. I just can't see how this car would be as awesome without it. Beyond that, it really is unlike any other SUV I test drove or have driven, and I really do think it's worthy of the badge :)

I, for one, understand the statement of a "porsche product", so I purchased the macan s because the base model has a vw engine. The Macan S was built by porsche.

The Mall is amazing in my opinion! And then you could enter The World Trade Center from another section of the mall. RIP all the victims of The September 11th 2001 Attacks. Gone but not forgotten💔
