Love my little Mahindra 1626!
it's great for what we need
Do you mind sharing the dimensions of your rig?
everyone's will be a little different as each pool shape and size is different. Mine is in storage during this time of year. Once we open the pool, I'll take a look at the size.
@ Thanks! We’re in the thick of it right now, we’ll likely have leaves falling through the next 2 months and I’m about done with it.
Great idea. If a ton of leaves I can see this still inihibiting flow if they get sucked to the front . May modify mine on the sides that go in pool with a nipple on left and right side to slide full size pool noodles into to completely block leaves. Above ground no main drain.
let me know how it works out for you!
Great idea. This paired with a solar charged surface pool cleaner like the bettas are great. Just upgraded from one to two to help with all these darn leaves!
Awesome video! Really well explained. Thank you!
You're welcome, glad it helped!
We had a similar problem. Found out from the owner of the basement tech company that his workers had installed the vents UPSIDE DOWN, which stopped the sensor from working. Also they had broken off pieces so they could fit them into the wall recesses. *eyeroll*
yeah, either way though they're kinda terrible
Money saver, great idea
Nice garden ,however one should not plant peppers very close to tomatoes bc the cross pollination…tomatoes can develop the shape of peppers and neither will do well .
I'll be sure to keep that in mind for next year!
Great vid! Im interested in this make/model and looking forward to more videos. TYSM🤙🏼
Thanks! I'm planning on getting more videos up soon.
Deer will easily jump that height. Anyway you all did an excellent job, very nice.
A second fence four feet from the initial fence will inhibit deer and elk, moose need six feet between and fence height of 6'. Also plant sunchokes or similar deer loving perennials at the edge of the woods. They will go for the food they deem saver.
I bought a 2015 low hour repo 4530 for less than the cost of a compact. It weighs around 6000 pounds and the loader lifts 3500 pounds. 4 wheel drive, diff lock, synchro shuttle. Works well with a 6 foot brush hog. Have forks, grapple, bucket, and tiller. Have not needed any parts other than filters and O rings. It meets Tier 4 emissions without DEF or a DPF.
You need to add flowers, different varieties. They bring in beneficial insects and pollinators, which will mean less pests and higher crop yields.
I would like to see the true lift capacity and how it would handle.
Stay tuned...I plan on filming some more videos on the tractor.
Can you do another review since it/you have had it longer? Please and thanks
Absolutely...I plan on getting back on track and getting some more videos uploaded the Fall.
I must say that in my area the deer will practically step over that fence. They would not hesitate at that fence. You must have tiny deer.
We have livestock guardian dogs.
Other than safety, having sufficient counterweight minimizes damage to your bevel gear seals and spindles. Kioti has excellent lift capability for a smaller tractor but I’ve seen many with leaking bevel cases and cracked spindles. Good tractors but offset some of that weight.
I have a 2002 6000 and have have lots of fuel related problems blown head gasket hydro steering pump problems but still has great oil pressure!
Thanks for your review. I agree 100%. I like my Mahindra 1626. Two years old 300 hours. Lots of logging, brush hog and bahia hay field work. This little tractor punches way above its weight class. I don't ballast weight as I leave the brush hog or back ho attached. My only problems: Feral hogs are so bad that the ruts shake my tractor metal work into bent. Needed a bit beefier sheet metal and hinges. My differential lock gets stuck. I think it is stuck right now in fact. It wasn't optimized for mesquite / cedar thickets, and I broke off the turn signals, level rod and other sundries. My recommendation to first time buyers is move the lights inside the headache rack and remove the level gage and install ONLY when needed for bucket work. Oh... the oil stick is way in the back and painted black. Paint it yellow to find it in dusk/dawn lighting.
All good points. Took me forever to find the dipstick for the first time. Spray painted the handle bright orange to fix that issue!
Love it….on my way to HD for material. Just what I needed. Thanks!
Awesome....hope it works out for you!
Beautiful garden!
Thank you!
A lovely garden! Meaning no disrespect, but any deer could easily just hop over that fence and clean out your garden over night. They're more interested in greens than nightshade plants, but when that corn gets going they'd LOVE to come in and relieve you of that! I would strongly suggest that you put up some extension poles and string some line with dangling streamers from them every 6" to 10" or so up to about 8' - 10' high if you really want to reliably keep them out.
Out livestock guardian dog keeps them far enough away that we've not had to worry about that....so far!
@@RobertsHomesteadHowTos OH, didn't know you had livestock guardian dogs! Never mind... 🤣
lmao @ that fence keeping out deer. You must be very very very new to the country.
Nope, not at all. The fence, and our dog has kept all unwanted animals away.
Think you meant breakout force is 2800 lbs. Lift capacity is 1560 at the pins.
Correct

Really cool to see what you've done here. Some great ideas for us to use too! Keep it up!
I appreciate that, thank you!
What type of wood?
I believe it was Yellow Pine ground contact pressure treated.
If you want strawberries try planting them in a hanging pot and hang them on a bar that you can add to the end of the garden. Use a cocoa nut and palm potting soil for them.
Yes, yes, yes Wonderful suggestions
awesome, thank you for that idea. We'll definitely give that a try!
Just subscribed nice area and lot of trees , whre is that area located at?
Nice garden where is your place located at?
Looks great but your beds may bow in the middle over time.
Yeah, I've already been keeping an eye on that. If so I'll just add some more 4x4 posts in the middle and secure them again.
You should look onto 3 Sister's Gardening. This style gives you more varieties within your beds.
I'll look into that for sure.
Thicket Beans, a native, perennial bean is what they used corn needs multiple stalks of corn in order to make full ears of corn during harvest. The squash needs to be planted at the right time. My ancestors would pocket farm. Wonderful dances of rememberance of tasks, sacrifices and gratefulness where given to the various plants. I only saw 2 of the 24 dances. I told the chief I was an eclectic, and he said you'd have to be born into th3 tribe to be part of the tribe.
Thicket beans is a native, perrenial, bean which the American Natives planted. The corn needs to be planted in bunches. My friends whom are successful plant 3 squash for about 24 corn and 2 or so Thicket Bean plants The Aniyaweah, aka, Cherokee practitioners and blood of the old pre-Christian ways. Have 2 dances for corn, where they learn mutual respect and gratitude and to hold corn and all life sacred. Beautiful
I test drove the 2638. The loader was jerky and the seat to pedals room is for guys 5'8 or less. I ended up buying aTYM 2515. It weighs 3000 lbs and almost 4000 with loader and it shares the same engine block as the 4215 model. It has lots of torque and the FEL lifts 2200 lbs and the 3 point lifts over 3000 pounds.
Yeah it seems a lot of guys are super happy with their TYMs.
The 2638 IS a TYM manufactured tractor. And Mahindra is getting away from TYM which is why I went with the 1635 myself (Mitsubishi manufactured). I test drove both and for me the 1635 is a lot more comfortable particularly with the loader handle position.
I have a 26xl 2017 I love it it does everything I want it to do
Hope you have many great years with your tractor. I have owned a Mahindra 3550 PST for 5 years and absolutely love it. The tractor is very heavy and well built. It will lift more than the green and orange competitors in its class, also was $13k less in price. I would definitely buy another one.
it's absolutely crazy how much stronger and more affordable the red paint color is!!!
thank you for showing real plugs. the liquid tire sealants are really bad for your tires and they wont plug the hole for a long time.
No problem 👍
