That’s a great question. You’re so right. Not as many boats as cape cod. There are a some boats out every day but mostly charters & fishing. There isn’t a lot of infrastructures like marinas or places to dock your boat & the costs are very high. Typically most who can afford those fees are charters & fishing boats. Also there aren’t many boat mechanics & the waiting list is long. I think the combination of these 2 things deter people from purchasing boats & being out there.

Absolutely that’s a great option for remote workers 🤙🏽

@daidavies6210 I think you might be surprised by the Hawaii political landscape. There’s definitely a lot of variety here. But I can see how it’s a personal choice & how you’d choose to live in a community of like-minded people. I encourage you to visit & chat with locals to see if you’re able to find a local community you’d like being a part of 🤙🏽

Aloha Sarah, You are absolutely right! TONS of people choose to have solar to offset costs. A lot of people also choose to be offgrid, mostly in the south of the Big Island. Since over there it is more rural and costs more to bring electricity in. There are some things that are shockingly expensive! And weirdly I can't get over bell peppers costing more than $3 each! But I love them and just pay the price. There are ways to cut costs like farmers markets, CSAs, or just growing your own! The land is so fertile :)

It really is a beautiful condo for sale in Kona! Since the video, the trees have been trimmed & there’s even more of an ocean view!

Glad you enjoyed it 🤙🏽 Kona Condos can be a great investment. I didn’t take into account appreciation because typically Investors don’t like to hear that. But the Kona real estate market has been appreciating at 3% year over year for the last 35 years!
