Maureen is very sorely missed by an awful lot of people. I seen Maureen many many years ago live and she was sensational, she sang a song that I think was called Aye Scotland, I had her singing it on a tape and someone pinched it off me. I wonder if anyone could send me a copy of it, I can’t find one anywhere.

R.J McNEILLY was my Grandfather, passed away at 93, he was also my hero. Born in Brynsford Co Down, went to the US of A in 1910. You can follow in his footsteps on my channel Clem

My father worked with Ben selling Extrusion Welding Rods before Ben started doing really well on the comedy circuit. I saw him perform once at the Plaza Ballroom on Englington Toll Glasgow on a night my friend Richie McCue was kickboxing for Scotland against England. The scaffolding stage Benn is performing on was provided by the company I worked for Turner. It was a Swedish Scaffold System they've since done away with but it provided the stage at The Ship and Big Picnic two huge theatrical productions in Glasgow. I never knew Ben but I knew his close friend Bill Ross and his wife Sadie. Bill Ross was a club singer and sang Sinatra brilliantly. Ben was a wee bit pre-occupied the night I met him but he had just come off the stage and was taking the plaudits which come from that. It was a hard crowd and wouldn't have been his easiest night entertaining.

oClem remember the time in 1990 she came over for The Big Day concert which was shown on Channel 4 which featured Texas Wet WetWet deacon Blue The Average Band a truly massive show and Sheena I think it was over round about a stage built in the Shawlands area and guess what the audience booed her also and choir singing the international and that was in down the Broomylaw , but to see her talking with that American accent

I really don't think this is Haven, Craig Tara. I am there 2 or 3 times each year for nostalgia reasons and this seems doesn't seem like that holiday camp.
